Global Vacation Network Travel Club

Jan 20, 2013

We attended a 90 minute presentatiion at GVN in Orlando. They seem to have many offices around the country. They offer timeshare weeks for supposedly $159,00 per week. You need to pay an upfront fee to join ($12,900 or the special 31,000 we were offered as we own timeshares). We were told you do not want to leave timeshare maintenance fees to your kids, so they would take our timeshares off our hands to join their travel club. We would still have to pay $14,000 for this special club value. They had timeshares and other vacation values around the world. They never showed us where we could go, but had an RCI book in the representatives office. It kind of looked like and office that was here today and gone tomorrow. I recalled from your blogs and others that you do not give up Deeded weeks for supposed right to use, or what ever they have weeks. We did not buy, but it did sound interesting after all the numbers they scratch on a page, to fast to understand. They showed us their web site that stated they were AAA by the BB in Kansas, but when I went on their web site this wasn't stated. Perhaps you should tell your readers to avoid this company. By the way they shielded themselves to us under the name T J Johnson and Associates and then another name before we reached their presention.

Hope this helps other owners Robert D Peterson
