FLOATING WEEKS

Aug 29, 2013

I AM NEW TO THE TIME SHARE ISSUES. I SEE THAT RESORTS HAVE A FLOATING TIME. DOES THAT MEAN IF A TIMESHARE IS PURCHASED FROM AN OWNER RE A MARRIOTT RESORT IN FLORIDA THAT AS AN OWNER YOU MAKE A RESERVATION AS PER REQUEST IF A ROOM IS AVAILABLE? I AM CONSIDERING A PURCHASE FROM AN OWNER. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP IN THIS REGARD. I KNOW IT SOUNDS THAT I DO NOT KNOW VERY MUCH ABOUT THE SET UP.

Floating means weeks within a certain timeframe (ex: weeks 1-15, weeks 25-35, weeks 40-50 ect). With floating weeks it's always advised to make your reservations far in advance when there is availability.
