Best Bluegreen Resort Rentals
I have sold some days on my timeshare rental but I felt that i sold them to low. I sold 4 days to a co-worker for New Year's at Gatlinburg for $400.00. What is the best way to advertise. I have been researching for events. What events do u reccomend and how should i price this. i have advertised on MyResorts.com but did not sell. Is there any way to advertise points for sale or a week without locking yourself into an assigned week?

It works if you have a timeshare week that someone is looking to rent and the price is right. I would much rather rent a timeshare condo (many with 2beds, 2 baths and the luxurious amenities of a resort) any day than a 1 room hotel/motel.

I think $100 a night is reasonable. It depends on where you own as to the events in the area .... I do know that the 3rd or 4th week of October in Gatlinburg is VERY popular due to the changing color of the fall leaves in the Smokies. You can list your points for sale here (copy and paste URL and scroll down to middle of page):

RedWeek is one of the most visited websites for timeshare sales and rentals.
As JJ said, it depends how popular the week is and the price. Be realistic in what price you list it for. Also remember that many weeks offered for rent do not get rented due to many factors.
If you don't get any bonafide responses to your ad, don't panic and resort to shady companies claiming they can work miracles for you.
Most of all, do not pay anyone a large, upfront fee to rent out, sell, market, or "cancel" your timeshare as there are many scam artists out there wanting to pounce on people like you claiming they can rent out your unit for zillions of dollars.
