Renting Time Share for Specific Week ie. the week of May, 31, 2014.
So, I list my timeshare on the big island for less than $1500 a week. I must pay $24.00 to rent it for 6 months. Also do I additonally pay $14.99 to join redweek.com for 1 year? What happens if I don't rent it that designated week? Can I not list it as flexible?

If you own a fixed week then that is the week you show in the ad .... if you own a floating week then you can show it as flexible in your ad (ie: weeks 1-52 or within whatever floating time you own).

My question about price was not answered. Any chance of losing your week if you specify just one week? I can request a week from my T.S. company and respond. Looks like lots of people want to rent at MLV. I will be on vacation for a week and may not return to this e mail until I return March 9. Gwen

Once your date is past or if you decide to return the week you have reserved (if you own a float) you can go back in and edit your RW ad as long as you still have time.
For example I started an ad for my week 52 about 3 months prior. I rented it (off another site) and still had time on my Redweek ad. I could not change resorts for another rental but I could change my week to a 2014 week and offer it as an early rental for this coming NYE week since I still had 3 months left that I paid for on the ad.
