How this works
I am new to how red week works, if I want to rent a timeshare do I have to become a member? If yes, can I cancel the membership at any time, or is there a cancelation fee? When I find one to rent, do I work directly with the owners? And who do I pay? The owners or does it go through red week first?
Thanks for your help Sarah

You pay the owner of the rental, but be sure there's a contract in place stipulating the terms of the rental and how payment should be made .... 'search forums' for sample rental agreements.
From the FAQ "How do I inquire about a posting? You will need to contact the owner of the posting directly. You can send an e-mail inquiry in the "Details & Contact" section of any posting page. Membership is required, but if you are unable to complete the transaction, please contact us within 30 days for a full refund of your membership fee".

I am looking to buy a timeshare on RedWeek.com resale site, but I am confused about the terms. Is there a particular range of dates for every season mentioned in the ads? What is Gold , High, Medium, Low and Platinum Season in term of calendar dates?
Thank you
Alex G.
Alex: Each resort can be different on the weeks that are high, medium or low. Postings that RedWeek manages (highlighted in green) will usually have that information in the details section of the posting. If the owner is managing the posting, you would need to use the Questions link on the posting to contact the owner and find out the weeks included in their season.
