Renting out a partial week

I'm using part of my week over a long weekend in April. I don't want to stay Tuesday-Friday. Is it possible to rent out those remaining 3 days? Does Marriot allow that? And how do I handle that with checking out and checking the new person in?

Yes, if you own the week, and it's not an exchange, then you can rent out the remaining days .... just tell the front desk the name of the person you are renting to.

Unfortunately it's an exchange. I own in Aruba. This week is in Palm Desert.

While you can';t rent it out if you have family or friends who could use the unit you can let them. If they want housekeeping to come in after you leave that can be arranged for a fee.
