I received an email about my post the other day and the person is requesting buying my points for this year. They don't want to buy my timeshare, but my points. Anyone ever done this before, want to make sure it is not a scam and what the process may be..

It is such a general question. Some timeshare systems in points let you rent out your allotment and some do not. Just like someone purchasing your week, there are those who are honest and those that may try to scam you. You need to find out if you are allowed to rent out your yearly allotment (or a portion) of points and how the transfer works with your company. Instead of selling you are basically renting out your usage for the year.

I have points timeshare and can rent a week, sell points / exchange a week for a guest, etc. As it is tough or impossible to actually sell the timeshare, I would love to sell points or rent a week(s). billg419
