Remodeling schedule for the Villas and the old tower
We've been informed that both the Villas and some of the units in the Old Tower are being remodeled, but can't seem to get any info on the schedule of the work. We are reluctant to plan our winter 2015 stay and take a chance on being bumped to a different unit on arrival due to construction, and putting up with the general noise of remodeling in the buildings. Has any one heard a schedule?

We are at the phoenix on the beach as I write this post, the remodel started at the top of the tower and is completed down to the 4th floor. They have started to remodel the 3rd floor floor of the villas. The management claims to be completed by the end of this year.

Thank you so much for the update. It sounds like we did the right thing by skipping the Divi Phoenix for 2015 and going elsewhere. We would be on the second floor of the Villas and it would probably be pretty noisy with construction overhead. We'll be back in 2016!

A current (May 2017) renovation update synopsis. The Phase 1 (original Tower and Beach Villas building) Tower is undergoing an elevator upgrade currently. The 14th floor has been closed to support the work. One elevator at a time is being worked. That leaves the 2nd elevator available.
Phase 2 (the four new Beach Villas buildings/towers) have entered a renovation phase. The right of use contract holders (Phoenix has no "deeds" per se) and the Divi Pure Points contract holders have received their assessment charges. So, going forward the Phase two units will be refreshed.
