Does anyone know of a bank that will refinance a time share, simply to lower the interest rate? I know a home equity line of credit is an option, but I would never attach my vacation purchase to my home. So if anyone knows of a good experience or bank that I should call, I would greatly appreciate it!
Since most timeshares have $0 value and banks aren't in the business to figure out which ones have value, no one will give you a loan secured with the timeshare. If you don't want to use your house then you would need to secure a personal loan to refinance.
