Buying, Renting, and Selling Timeshares

Ideas for selling a deeded week 52 3 bedroom lock off in Mystic Dunes near Orlando FL

Oct 09, 2014

I have listed my timeshare using the full service listing here at Redweek.com. Lowered down the price many times and now it is $3k. Unfortunately, there 's still no interests. Any ideas on how i can just get rid of it?

1. Unfortunately in this down economy many timeshares are being given away simply to rid those owners of ever rising yearly maintenance fees.

2. The Orlando area has the most timeshare resorts per capita in the entire world = over populated with timeshare resorts.

If I were you I would probably go down to $1000 and if still no takers look at the TUG Bargains Offered forum http://tugbbs.com/forums/) (if you want to give it away. You can still ask the "buyer" to pay the closing costs and transfers. A week 52 3 br lock off even in Orlando should go. $3000 is probably at the very highest range I think it would go for but if you have any patience left you might want to give it a little more time. If on the other hand you just want to make sure it is gone before the next MF's are due then you might want to go with a give away.

Redweek also has 'Bargain Resales' where owners can list timeshares to give away. Although most seasoned timeshare owners know about Tug, the vast majority of owners have never heard of it .... Redweek is the #1 timeshare ad site in the world.
