" Deeds " we don't need no stinking deeds !!! Actually it doesn't matter whether you have a deed or not it's the contract you signed. You are obligated to the terms of the contract. If you stop paying they can come after you for the money. It's the chance you take if you decide to walk away. Read the contract carefully and decide what action is best for you to take.

It depends . Most Mexican timeshares have offices in the US just so they can make sure that they can make it a little more difficult to just walk away and can a nd will report nonpayment to credit agencies.
Your first step should be to contact the resort and see if you can get your membership cancelled.
