Has anyone had experience reselling Wyndham points?

I am very interested in selling my Points , I can no longer afford them. I am with Wyndham also. Were you successful in your resale or did you do a deed back?

Go to the Timeshare Companies forum and check the pinned thread about Wyndham's Ovation program where Wyndham, for a fee, will take back units from current owners. Just make sure you are up to date on the mortgage and maintenance fees.

You might want to take a closer look at Wyndham Ovation program (read the fine print). Ask questions and only take straight answers in writing. If they won't put it in writing it is not happening. They tried a similiar program 3 years ago and it was just a means for them to sell you more points with the hope they would buy them back years down the road. Wyndham doesn't want your points. They want your maintenaince fees paid on time. You stop paying they can get your points for free basically. Remember any thing they tell you in the end has to benefit them NOT you

In November, 2014, we contacted Wyndham to get rid of our 750,000 points. I thought maybe I would just have to sign the deed back to them. To my surprise - they said they would either "buy them back" OR I could have usage of timeshare for 3 years without paying maintenance fees. I chose to have them buy the points back. They only paid about 15 cents on the dollar, but it was enough for us. We dumped over $300 a month in maintenance fees. We have travelled to resorts since selling our Wyndham points, and it seems Wyndham is a lot nicer than most. We also had a Hawaii Timeshare with DIAMOND INTERNATIONAL and they ONLY way we could "dump" it was to pay a company to take the deed. It was all handled properly but it cost us an additional $1500 which was another year's maintenance fees basically...
