Some will say "Where else in downtown Manhattan can you get a luxury 1-BR suite 3-4 nights for 'only' $2000 (or whatever the maintenance fees are)?" On the other hand, if you rarely travel to NYC, then the fees are probably too high. Check out what the fees are and analyze your personal needs, circumstances, and travel preferences. Think about them very carefully. Remember, there are many unhappy MC owners that want out right now because of the high fees.
