Success rates for Hawaii rentals

Sep 23, 2015

I am a timeshare owner and interested in renting my timeshare at the Hilton Grand Vacation in Hawaii. I wanted to know what the success rates are for Hawaii rentals. Any tips would be helpful too! I'm new to this and don't know where to begin.

Well remember the first and most important rule: never, ever pay anyone a large upfront fee to sell, rent out, market, or cancel your timeshare because that is always a scam. Next, know where to advertise. Right here on RedWeek is a good start. Some other reputable websites for advertising are E-Bay, Cragislist (but be prepared for a lot of spammers and scam attempts), My Resort Network, Bid Shares, and Timeshare Users Group.

Check out other rentals that are being offered on these sites so you can have a comparison how to price your rental. Sometimes is takes time to have someone respond with a bonafide offer. Remember too, that many weeks offered for rent do not get any takers. As for the success rate of renting what you are offering, I don't know but it is probably worth a try.

Jaime-

You might find it helpful to take a look at this page: Whats My Timeshare Worth

Just enter the name of your resort, and you can view both current and historical rental data for your timeshare on our website.

If you have further questions, please Contact Us .
