Marriott DP Buyback

Has anyone experienced a Marriott Vacation Club Destination Points purchase buyback? We are going through a buyback of purchased destination points due to Marriott not honoring promises made by the salesperson at the sales presentation. I just wondered if anyone else has been through something like this so I know how often it might happen, how the buyback was handled and know what to expect.

Have not heard of any buybacks. It sounds more like a refund due to breach of contract. When this happens part of the deal is usually a non disclosure clause so you don't really hear about any of the details other than "both parties have come to a satisfactory resolution."
