It's not just Diamond. "Timeshare has such a bad reputation" because of, among other things, the methods used by the sales people. That, along with building way too many (many more than are needed or desired) with the mentality "If you build it, they will come."

I've been in the business 20 years Diamond Resorts is the WORST... I went to work at Diamond and lasted 2 weeks before I resigned. The whole pitch is a GIMMICK ... They're CON MEN not SALESMEN. Everything is a LIE... Prices are PACKED... You pay for everything they offer for free. Owners are tricked into buying more POINTS based on the lie that they never signed off on their last offer at POINTS COST and can still qualify for the price from last presentation...SUCKER BUYER BEWARE !!!
