Has anyone ever tried RedWeek? 29.99 seems like a great way to rent out. My mother has an old school numbered week from Mariott Barony Beach Club on HH, SC. Shes lost multiple weeks due to not paying attention to it and I'd like to help her unload the ones she doesn't use. That said I have one through Disney and have never needed to rent it out so I really don't know how to go about doing it.

Hi Vindiesel,

If you are interested in renting out your mom’s HH timeshare, you’ll need to see what equivalent timeshares are renting for, in Hilton Head, for the same season, same view, same size unit, etc.

Once you find a prospective renter and agree upon a price, it is best to sign a Rental Agreement. I believe there are samples on TUG and MyResortNetwork and maybe here on RedWeek. I usually accept payments by PayPal, that is easiest with me.

I use three different sites to post rentals: Redweek MyResortNetwork.com Timeshare Users Group (TUG): https://tug2.com/timeshare-classifieds/ TUG has a forum where you can ask other Marriott owners for help, ask rental questions. There are even articles on tips for renting your timeshare. https://www.tugbbs.com/forums/index.php

Redweek is great! I use it every year to rent out my Playa Grande timeshare. Never failed to get me a renter in the last 10 years. I'm now using Redweek to sell my timeshare, beginning a few days ago. Am interested to see if this works out.
