Cancelling time share within 5 days

I purchased timeshare from Sapphire/Starpoint last Oct. 16. I sent notice of cancellation letter Oct. 18 and the Purolator Shipment Company said it will be delivered on October 22 since there was no delivery on Sat and Sun. Am I still on rescission period? Can I still get refund of my deposit? Am I completely out of the contract and obligations? Thanks in advance for those who help me answer the questions. I am so worried.
