The Pueblo Bonito website states: "Although the pristine shoreline in front Sunset Beach and Pacifica is perfect for sunbathing, swimming is not allowed due to the exceptionally strong currents along the coastline. "

No you cannot even wade in the water but there are at least 7 pools for your convenience
