I am replaying a recent presentation at a Sheraton Vistana property and could not find details here or anywhere with google.
One of the more intriguing parts of the presentation was when our associate showed us how he, as a vacation club owner, is able to redeem his Bonvoy points (not vacation club points), for 25% of a stated point redemption.
For example, if Marriott's site said a night was 25,000 points, a vacation club owner could reserve the night for only 6,250 points.
Does anyone here know more details about this?
The hotel system Bonvoy took over nd dramtically chanded the SPG program...
Owners iin the timeshares can change their ownership in for hotels points,
look up marriott.com and categories
not the best value typicall on week in a 2 bedroom villa only gets you 330,000 hotels points basically 5 night cat 7

Thanks for the reply.
I am certain what I was shown was NOT a transfer of points. Instead, it was a way to use existing bonvoy points at a huge discount vs non vacation club owners.
I clarified this a couple times, but can find no other information about this anywhere so I am assuming it is too good to be true.
