renting a week from Trading Places

I have 2 weeks in Maui in October 2021 from an exchange on Trading Places. I asked Trading Places over the telephone if I can sell the week on Redweek, and they said Yes, just call us with the name of the renter and they will issue a new reservation in their name. I noticed in your forum that I may not be allowed to do this. Before I post my listings, am I allowed to rent my weeks from Trading Places?

Michael: We cannot verify or create a full-service posting on weeks obtained through RCI or Interval, as both companies have policies that prohibit renting out weeks obtained through their system. I would recommend reading the policies and exchange disclosure of Trading Places, as it appears they may have a similar policy, even though all employees may not be fully aware of that policy.
