covid border restrictions

i am a canadian going to pompano beach for 5 weeks travelling via land--car. end of 5 weeks i need to get covid test--72 hr. if i test positive i must quaranteen. will the border people direct me to quaranteen facilities. can i come home and quaranteen. or/ and is there quaranteen facilities available for me in pompano areas. are us travellers being secregated from staying at places if we are positive.
