Renting a future reservation made with Diamond Resort points

I have 3 separate reservations that I booked months ago with the Diamond points that I own. I will not be using the booked reservations. I was told by Diamond that I could not rent them - that I had to cancel my reservation. Is that true?

I know nothing whatsoever about DRI practices. However, I will point out to you that there is a DRI-specific forum over on the Timeshare Users Group (http://www.tugbbs.com). That DRI forum would represent a fair concentration of other DRI owners who could surely answer any and all of your DRI-related questions. That would be a more direct approach with a much better chance of getting well informed answers than from a random, stand-alone post here on RedWeek. It’s surely worth a try, no? Good luck.

I am a weeks owner with Diamond and rent mine out all the time! I don’t think they can tell u if u can rent it out or not!
