If I purchase Nanea resale, what are the limitations of usage?

You can only use the “options” at Nanea. No ability to book a different resort. No ability to convert to Marriott hotel,points. You can still book 12 months out.

You are basically restricted to use that resale time only at Nanea.

I am looking at listings at Nanea. I am not familiar at all with the points system. When you buy a resale, are you actually buying access to a specific type of unit (2bedroom ocean view, 3bedroom oceanfront) or are you simply buying a set amount of points? Then those points allow you to book ___ type of room? I like the resort and have booked a couple of different weeks over the years. Wondering when the breakeven point would be if I want to stay there for one week every year. Any advice would be much appreciated.
