When you rent a villa, can you request where you would like to be located?

The units at this resort are assigned at check-in, and you can call the resort in advance to request a certain location. It cannot be guaranteed that the resort will be able to fulfill your request, however.

Been renting here for 15 years; I've made various requests: ocean view, near a certain pool, or two units in the same building. You have to call the resort after booking, but prior to your arrival. We've always been accommodated with our request.
