My family loves to snorkel. Are you able to access the water around the lava to go snorkeling at this resort? Thank you!

Hello! The water adjacent to the resort is quite treacherous considering the way you need to climb down the lava rocks so swimming is not advised, but just walk down Ali'i Drive 15 minutes to Kahalu’u Beach Park. The water is calm which makes it ideal to snorkel. I have seen more species fish and turtles at this location, than on any paid snorkeling excursion that I have been on around the big island if Hawaii.
