Non-US Resident wishing to offer timeshare for rent

Jul 21, 2023

I note that you have to obtain IRS details from the owner before making payment. As I am not a US resident I have had no reason to have any contact with IRS. I would have no US income apart from this rent. What would I need to do to fulfill your requirements.

If you are not a US taxpayer, you will not get a 1099-K for your activities, but the US company paying you (i.e. RedWeek) may still need to identify payments made to you. We are currently exploring what needs to be reported to non-US. taxpayers, in the meantime, we will need non US taxpayers to provide basic tax information as well – you will be able to tell us if you are a citizen of another country, and will only get the forms that apply to you.
