Once you "deposit" a week with RCI, it is no longer yours to use or rent out (or get back from RCI) for that particular year of use.
In other words, you can try to rent out your week on RedWeek (or anywhere else) instead of depositing a week that you own to RCI, but once you "deposit" that week to RCI it is then immediately no longer available for you to occupy or rent out (or retrieve back from RCI) for that particular usage year.
Btw, if you "deposit" a week for exchange with RCI and then obtain a week in exchange from RCI, you cannot rent out any such week obtained as a "trade", since you don't actually own any week obtained by "exchange". RCI (and II too) specifically prohibit the rental of any week(s) obtained from them by "exchange", as very clearly stated in their terms and conditions of membership.
You can exchange a week you own or you can rent it out, but obviously not both actions with the same week in the same year. Think of it this way, as the old saying goes --- "You can't have your cake and eat it too".
