While the resort is oceanfront and offers beautiful views of the Atlantic, it is separated from the water by a seawall. The property is on the water, but there is no direct sandy beach access for swimming from the resort itself. The closest Beach is Smathers Beach, the largest white sand beach in Key West, is located nearby, typically described as a short walk or a very short drive (roughly 1.2 miles) away.
