Tahoe Sands Resort Reviews & Ratings

All units are clean and a few feet away from Tahoe lake. We enjoyed the afternoon snack with some red wine they provide for guests.

Full kitchen in each unit with provided pots and pans and utensils. Grocery stores are nearby, like Safeway.

There's lots of restaurants nearby serving excellent food. Some do have entertainment. A few miles away from shopping. . It's 1/2 hour drive to Reno, Nevada if you want to try your luck with casinos.

The Tahoe Sands is an older mountain resort with a location on the north shore of Lake Tahoe that cannot be beat. You can walk out of your room to the lake. Stand up paddle boards and kayaks are provided at no charge. Fun hot tub with views of the l and surrounding mountains. Happy hour for guests held weekly. BBQ grills. Movie rentals free of charge. We love staying here!

This resort is right on the beautiful Lake Tahoe. The resort is relaxed and friendly. They have buoys to rent for your boat. Also have paddle boards and kayaks to rent. Great location in Tahoe Vista.

The Tahoe Sands is a modest resort with an amazing beach. A great location to explore the area or hang on the beach and enjoy all the water activities the lake has to offer.

We stayed here for a week in July 2007 - our 3rd time here. Nothing fancy, but the location was great!

This is an exceptional resort located right on the lake in Lake Tahoe. It is near casinos, restaurants, and ski resorts. Nice to walk out your front door and be right on the sand. The views are great and the weather exceptional.

I highly recommend this resort to any and all.
