Fantastic location, right on the edge of Newport harbor, looking over the fishing boat docks to the west and the sailboat docks to the south. Must see to believe.
This building is on Long Wharf Mall within a ten minute walk to famous waterfront restaurants or Thames Street where there are dozens of shops, dozens of bars, and dozens of restaurants.
Newport is home to more than three dozen Gilded Age Mansions, that were the summer "cottages" of the ultra wealthy more than a century ago. At least eleven of these mansions are now open to the public as museums.
The first US Open Golf Tournament (in 1895) and the first US Open Tennis Tournaments (from 1881-1914) were held in Newport. Now the Tennis Hall of Fame and The Sailing Museum and Sailing Hall of Fame are located in Newport.
