Fantastic location, right on the edge of Newport harbor, looking over the fishing boat docks to the west and the sailboat docks to the south. Must see to believe.

This building is on Long Wharf Mall within a ten minute walk to famous waterfront restaurants or Thames Street where there are dozens of shops, dozens of bars, and dozens of restaurants.

Newport is home to more than three dozen Gilded Age Mansions, that were the summer "cottages" of the ultra wealthy more than a century ago. At least eleven of these mansions are now open to the public as museums.

The first US Open Golf Tournament (in 1895) and the first US Open Tennis Tournaments (from 1881-1914) were held in Newport. Now the Tennis Hall of Fame and The Sailing Museum and Sailing Hall of Fame are located in Newport.

We had a great stay . Fabulous view of the very active and scenic harbor with magnificent yachts everywhere reminding us of Marbella or Santorini . Easy access to great eating , boat trips , shopping and free trolley to take us mansion visiting and beach access . Unit was on top floor assuring little noise and great views , plus bed was super comfortable . Added attraction is that this week features last night of the Folk Festival and ends the week with the Jazz Festival .

Relaxing stay My wife and i just stayed at the Inn. The 1 bedroom suite was comfortable and spacious. The living room had huge windows overlooking the Newport Harbor. We could see the mega yachts and fishing fleet out our window while we had coffee. The visitor center is almost next door and it's a short walk to many shops and restaurants. Great place to stay in Newport.

Love going here - Great resort! We have been multiple times. So much to do in Newport, plus amazing seafood. Very walkable to get to restaurants, the docks and boat tours, shopping and more.
