Large one bedroom plus with ocean view, in the middle of the Hilton village. Very nice location, private pool and gym on the same tower 4th floor, Starbucks coffee on the first floor, plenty of restaurants and 2 minutes from Waikiki beach! Best location in the village!

Kalita Suites in Hilton Hawaiian Village is is a wonderful location within the resort. This tower has great amenities, wonderful location, view, and ease of access! Hilton Hawaiian Village is a great resort on Waikiki Beach. The resort has shops, restaurants, rentals, and excellent concierge service .There are many swimming pools and a lagoon with fresh ocean water to enjoy. We love our vacations in Kalia Tower, with it's own pool deck, shops in the lobby area, a (starbucks) coffee shop. Besides our oversized 1bedroom suite, with ocean view we especially enjoy our balcony view of the Friday night fireworks or sitting on the beach to enjoy them!

This entire property is amazing! Multiple things to do on property, and Waikiki Beach was steps away from my room! FYI...You can rent a car and park at the harbor right next to the property for much less than what the hotel charges. Having a kitchen and laundry in my room was SO nice! I've stayed at HHV before in a regular hotel room, and Kalia Tower was much nicer because of that...and the rooms are extremely nice!

We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Kalia Tower in February 2007 and loved it. This huge resort has everything on site right in the heart of Waikiki Beach. There is great shopping, with multiple dining and entertainment options without leaving the property. There are several parks and museums nearby and the famous beach is right out your front door for lounging, swimming or people watching. You will definately not be bored staying at this resort. The Hilton Hawaiian Village is 5 Star all the way in my opinion. I would not suggest renting a car as it is not needed and parking is an extra $20 per day.

The rooms in this resort are designed in a more urban style (very special considering the unique setting), which reminds one of an expensive and spacious apartment in Manhattan or London. The rooms in the one bedroom units are not at all narrow and indeed the bedroom and bathroom are bigger than the ones in the lagoon tower. This resort has the combined charm and amenities of a five-star hotel and gold crown resort. Both ocean and mountain view rooms have spectacular views. We in fact love the room with the mountain view better since the ocean view is a bit farther compared to the amazing oceanview from the Lagoon tower. You can watch the sunrise in the morning from your lanais. Yet the furniture is very classy and the internet service in the resort is great. Ah, the best part is the spa on the 4th floor. Both ladies and gentlemen can enjoy world-wide assortments of massages, facials, and body wraps.

I’ve stayed at Kalia Suites multiple times, and what stands out is how practical and stress-free it is compared to some of the other towers in Waikiki.

First, the location is extremely convenient. There’s a Starbucks right downstairs and a well-equipped fitness center in the building, which makes daily routines very easy. You don’t need to go far for coffee or a quick workout.

One underrated advantage of Kalia is the room orientation. Unlike some other towers where “ocean view” can be very hit-or-miss, Kalia’s layout tends to offer more consistent and open views without feeling blocked by nearby buildings. It’s not always a direct beachfront view, but it feels more spacious and less disappointing.

The property is also slightly set back from the busiest beachfront areas, so it’s quieter at night while still being just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. That balance is something I’ve really appreciated during my stays.

Overall, it’s a very easy place to use—reliable, comfortable, and convenient—especially for families or repeat visitors who value function over flash.

A very upmarket resort with an adults only pool, an excellent fitness center, a Starbucks in the lobby, spa facilities, and a friendly help desk. The rooms are spacious and in the New York Apartment style decor. Two balconies from where you can see the Friday night fireworks and the sailing and surfing enthusiasts. There is a free clothes washer and dryer down the hallway. Housekeeping uses a separate elevator so there is never any waiting for the elevator. And it is an easy walk to the beach, the lagoon and the Ala Moana shopping mall. Overall, a great place to spend a week.
