What is not disclosed are the 2 older buildings several blocks from the main campus. Partially renovated but clean with tired looking furnishings. After trekking our luggage several blocks to reach this surprise location, we were disappointed when we opened the door to our room. We talked to several owners and they were also disappointed to be assigned to the Kingfish building stating the experience is not as good as the 4 main buildings. The campus is very clean but we do not feel the resort vacation vibe in this building, a let down. Based on this experience, I will not rent here again or consider buying if the building assignment could not be guaranteed.

Fabulous location. Right on inlet to deep sea fishing. Beautiful beach and great pools for both children and adults. Close to great restaurants and entertainment. .

We have owned our Ocean Pointe two-bedroom Oceanside unit since 2000 and used it almost every year since then, and we have never been disappointed with our stays.

Depending on the exact unit, you can have a relaxing view of the Atlantic Ocean to the east and a limited view of the Intercoastal to the west. It has free covered parking available under each of the five buildings of the resort, as well as additional parking between and around them.

Love this resort! The Kingfish building has been updated and a lot of people love it because it's away from the crowd. It's at the end of the beach at the inlet. It's just a block away. The Kingfish building has some of the best ocean front views and it has the same amenities. The entire resort is great!!

Our favorite ocean getaway! Great pools and beach, friendly staff, spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath ocean side view from room. Great food and refreshments at the poolside Tiki Bar. Love this resort!

We've been going to Ocean Pointe for over 20 years and rarely miss our week there. Unfortunately, we have an unavoidable conflict this year. Have fun and enjoy.

This is an annual visit for us and our entire family! The grandchildren have “grown up” at Ocean Pointe and consider it their favorite vacation spot. They are counting down the days until next time! We have so many wonderful memories and the resort property keeps everyone busy. Plenty to do in the area, with some of the finest dining spots!

Stayed in a 1 bedroom in the fourth building. Room was not ready for 4pm check in but this was communicated with me right at 4pm. Some notice ahead of time would have been appreciated. Room was fine, location to pools and beach was great. Could use more options for food onsite, although the food we did eat, while super pricey, was good. Issue was with the quality and service of the staff. Most were unpleasant and seemed bothered when spoken too. We had an issue with towels and dirty bed sheets in our room and asked for a replacement. The entire interaction with the employee and his manager was ridiculous. Service was unacceptable. Took it to housekeeping director and he smoothed things over but the whole incident left a bad taste in our mouths. When calling or texting for towel replacements or anything else, expect to wait at least an hour. Fire pits weren’t working our entire stay in March. Location not the greatest. It’s in west palm beach and when leaving the resort it isn’t (or at least it doesn’t feel like) in the safest area. Resort itself is beautiful and right on the beach. I love that about this place. Last summer we stayed at the MVC Villas in Newport Beach and this place doesn’t hold a candle to the other resort. Service and quality there was 100 times better. I wouldn’t stay here again just because of the lack luster service and attention we received.

Just spent a week there and was very disappointed. They wouldn't tell us what building we were in until we checked in. We read that the Kingfish building was far away from main resort and hoped we didn't get that building but we did. I asked the manager to switch me to another building but he said he had no other available units and assured us we would like it. He gave me his card and said to call him if unhappy. We called him the next day to express our displeasure and left a message for him. We never got a call back. The service and staff was poor. We never felt welcome, since most of the staff wasn't friendly or welcoming. The food was average at best. We have been at other Marriott Vacation Resorts and this one doesn't compare to them. We left a day early. Never got an emil from resort asking about our stay like we have at other Marriott Resorts.

A beautiful relaxing resort for all ages!! Swimming options are great. Lovely nearby places to eat.

Have stayed here many times each time it is getting worse on how they treat redweek buyers. This week we have been placed in a building all by itself away from the main resort. We requested to be at the main resort and was told that owners get those rooms first. After getting to our room with an exterior entrance the room smelled musky. The very nice house keeping manager took us to 2 other rooms that had broken ac units before we got this great room with a parking lot and building view. This is our last time here.

This place is a let down! I went to purchase a unit from a private owner and Had the paperwork in the works along with my deposit and was told Marriott exercised their right to purchase it back!! I will never stay at any Marriott ever again!

We've had a less than stellar experience at this resort. We arrived at 7:30pm to a room that was infested with ants. They were not just in the kitchen but also in the hallway and bathrooms. It took about 45 minutes for someone to come up and confirm that there were in fact ants and then another 30 minutes for someone to come spray. The carpets were not vacuumed between guests and sheets/ pillowcases didn't look clean. I asked for a new room. It the woman assisting kept telling me she didn't think there were any.

We ended up in the Kingfish building which isn't really part of the hotel. There is another building, not owned by Marriott, in between us and the rest of the resort. It is a long walk to the resort facilities and the neighborhood isn't particularly safe feeling. People have bars on their windows and the resort has gates and codes for everything. We've stayed at many Marriotts and this is by far the worst experience we've had.

If you like 1970's, uncomfortable furniture, misleading descriptions (our ocean view could only see a parking lot - no water) and no real restaurant for most of our stay, then this is the place for you. Oh, and a poolside policy that pits guest against guest - showcases a team not focused on customer satisfaction. The best part of the vacation was the walk to the beach, and the non-hotel-paid crew that was awesome. A lot of owners seemed frustrated. I will give props for good service and good concierge, but I wouLd never have come here if I knew I would not have an ocean view, I needed to get in my car for breakfast or dinner for most nights, and rare available seats next to the pool require death stares between guests. Not my idea of relaxation.

We are Marriott owners and have stayed at 6 different Vacation Clubs. This resort is defintely not up to Marriot standards. Kingfish building was supposedly just updated. Carpet was worn and room had a smell. Room furnishings and cabinetry was very dated. grounds were just average. many things were unkept. Had to walk through parking garage to get to the pool. Nobody in kingfish building most of the time at the conciere desk. Not enough pool chairs at any of the pools. Definitely can tell the owners association at this resort are on a budget. Ocean and beach are very nice. Probably would not return.

service mediocre, rooms mediocre. had to switch rooms twice when we arrived. counters in two kitchens had food crumbs left on them obviously not wiped down and ants crawling along the base boards. decore is definately dated and our first room in the Cobia building had a musty smell, carpet was filthy. not the quality you would expect from marriott. Finally ended up in the Sailfish building which has been slightly updated. Several other couples we talked to while there had similar issues. If you can get a good rate on the rental it may be worth renting as long as you realize before hand that this is not a five star resort. 3 at best.

The drop off from the beach to the actual ocean is over your head. What little beach is there is hogged by the "for rent" umbrellas and chairs. Rusted wreckage and sand dredgeing equipment also is an eyesore. They count being but on the bay as "ocean front" -- so be careful when you agree to rent ocean front from them -- you will find your self with a good walk to the rest of the resort, the pools, and the beach. Twice while we were there our room was left with the door standing open by the towel service! Yikes! Compared to other Marriott's I have stayed at, this is definitely "less than."

I stayed there with my sister on a sales promotion. I did not find the staff very helpful, except for one person, and everything worth seeing is definitely a $20 cab ride away. DEFINITELY rent a car. This is not like South Beach. This resort definitely caters to older couples or people with children. Not a place to stay if you are single in your 30s. We thought it was too far from any action. Great gym though. Wouldn't go back.

Beautiful ocean front with pool and beach! Large and clean room with the comforts of home!

We come here practically every year over the Memorial Day Weekend and have enjoyed, the oceanfront views and all the activities on property. The staff is great and it is willing to help with any questions you have. There are several restaurants within walking distance and several close by car. There are also 3 swimming pools available to you on the entire property.

Our Oceanfront view and beach are second to none. The living room looks out at the ocean and beach and the balcony allows you to hear the crashing waves.
