When you take a Hawaiian vacation, you
should stay on right the ocean, not blocks
away. This resort has a great location right on
the ocean. Some unit lanai's hang over the
ocean and get hit with high surf. We have
stayed at the Sea Village many times and now
own units here. The resort is kept in perfect
condition by Vacations International.
We love to relax at the oceanside pool and
spa. Most evenings people gather around the
gas bar-b-ques, cook dinner and eat at the
tables on the beautiful lawn or back on thier
lanai's. We don't play tennis but there is a full
size court. The ocean side pool and spa are
where we relax, listening to the waves. At
night the sound of the waves lull us to sleep.
My friend has caught us dinner by fishing from
shore at the condo too. We have stayed in
fancier and newer condos in Mexico, but for a
20+ year old resort, it is in very good
condition. I would rate the quality more like a
Hilton than a Four Seasons. It is a wood 3
story building with no elevators. The is lots of
parking but no garage. We often walk to
the tourist part of town, but drive to Walmart,
K-mart or Costco for major shopping when we
stay more than a week or two.
The interiors of the units rented from
SeaVillageCondos.com are beautifully
remodeled and have everything you need
except your food and beverages. There is a
Safeway and two other large grocery stores a
mile away. There are cable TVs in the living
and bedrooms. A stereo, VCR, two telphones,
blender, mixer, washer/dryer and every utinsil
you whould ever need. The ceiling fans and
ocean breezes keep you cool, so you don't
need air conditioning. It rarely exceeds 88
degreees. Perfect Kona weather for a perfect
Hawaiian vacation! You will not regret staying
at the Sea Village.
