Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort - West Village Reviews & Ratings

We had apprehension about buying our unit site unseen from a RedWeek posting earlier this year. We bought in the West Village for spring break and wondered if we would end up with shabby furniture in the older section. We were pleasantly surprised to find that everything in the unit was new. It must have been recently refurbished and tastefully so. Our golf villa patio overlooked the lake on the 8th and 9th hole of Crane’s Bend complete with ducks and mute swans. The facility has tons of amenities and activities. It is very close to Disney. There was concern about possible harassment by sales staff. We received one telephone call for a free breakfast and coupon book (in return for a sales pitch) that we politely declined and that was it. I was impressed by how clean the entire place was. You didn’t see as much as a bottle cap on the ground. We needed to call for a new electric can opener and maintenance was there with a new one in approximately three minutes. The staff on the whole was very friendly. We have stayed at a number of timeshare over the years and this place by far was the best one.

We have owned our condo at Orange Lake for over 30 years and have traveled across the country and stayed in many resorts and to this day, this is the best resort/condo that we have ever seen. It has the most amenities, the largest rooms and the beds are very comfortable. There are enough activities on property that you don't have to go off property. But if you do, it's within a 5 minute drive on, not well known, back roads to get to all of the Disney roadways! You are about 15 minutes to Sea World and 30 minutes to Universal and 1 hours 15 minutes to Cape Kennedy. It's the perfect location to do almost everything Florida.

We have owned the unit for over 30 years. The property is large and the resort does a great job in maintaining the facilities and updating amenities. We have always found the staff to be courteous and helpful. The area of the unit is quiet and large birds can often be watched behind the unit. Extremely close to Disney World and many other attractions outside of the resort, as well as food markets. Excellent opportunities for golf, tennis and dining. Seven swimming pools, water slides, lazy river and lake activities with complimentary shuttle service make it great for children.

West Village is our favorite location at Orange Lake. I have been a owner for about 20 years now. We always love our stays and have always been impressed with our accommodations. Since we have become a points owners it has been better being able to flex our vacations to exactly what we want. I am able to rent out extra weeks when I cant use them, and always "impressed" is what I am told. Hop, skip, and jump and your at Disney's door, or stay on sight to your hearts delight.

It's a fun place to go. Central for a lot of activities inside the resort and outside the resort. The 2 room Villas are very comfortable and great for family fun. We had 3 kids and 4 adults in the the 2 bedroom Villa. Staff was very nice, welcoming, and helpful.

Great Location , close to Disney and other Orlando attractions. So many pools, lazy river, rock climing, put put, designer gold course, walking trails, so much to choose from to enjoy the resort. Doesn't feel crowded at all, huge area. Always found clean rooms and well stocked kitchn with essential cookware. Room service is easy to work with and provided extra dinnerware on request for a huge family get together,

This is a beautiful resort. Rooms are generously sized and well-appointed. Proximity is great to the Disney and Universal theme parks as well as Disney Springs.

This IS a golfers paradise!! For the past several years I have owned and have come here every fall with a few of my friends and play at least 36 holes a day. All of the courses are very well maintained and a pleasure to play. The Legends and the Reserve courses are very different from each other, but still challenging in their own way.

The resort as a whole is clean and very well run. We have never had any problems here over the years. We have stayed at several resorts over the years and this one definitely ranks at the top!

This resort has everything. 7 heated pools, 1200 foot lazy river, 4 water slides (fee), shuttle throughout resort. Restaurants on site, water activities, pool games. Very large resort. This is a corner unit, back patio faces lake.

Love to visit Orange Lake Resort. I've owned it since 1992 when my children were less than 10 years old. We visited every year for 2 weeks during spring break. Now my grandchildren go there with their parents and cousins all together. This resort is the premiere resort in Florida. It is located adjacent to Walt Disney. There are 48,000 units. We have been owners for 5 years and vacation 4 Times a year with HICV. We love the locations and it is perfect for the whole family. We enjoy all of the amenities and my four children ages 15, 7, 2 and 1 all have a blast. Even the grandparent have fun, golfing and relaxing watching the game buy the pool!

This resort is close to all things DISNEY; Disney World, Disney Springs, Animal Kingdom; plenty of shops & eatery within walking distance is a quick drive.

Orange Lake resort is fabulous for location to the major attractions, multiple golf course on site, variety of restaurant options on site and across the street, and food store just outside the gate.

We have stayed at Orange Lake many times and the experience has been very positive. The customer service of the staff is highly commendable and made our experiences positive. The resort has many activities for families and adults.
