The location can’t be beat! Walkable to downtown and short distance from airport. Resort has everything needed for a great vacay!

This is a marvelous resort! We have owned our Presidential Suite for over 20 years! Enjoy the incredible views from your oceanfront balconies! Gorgeous garden and sunset views are amazing as well!

This is a beautiful resort in the best location in Puerto Vallarta. Walk to town and all shops and restaurants.

It was newly renovated just 3 years ago. The double room is beautiful with 2 full baths and a big whirlpool tub.

the resort has 2 big pools, spa, restaurants, bars, gyms and all amenities you would expect.

the beach is not useful for swimming. the food was overpriced, and the service was not consistent.

This unit has a nice sized balcony overlooking the beach and Bay. The walk downtown and to the Romantica Zone are within a 1 mile radius along the beautiful Malecon. The vacation club lobby has been completely renovated and includes 2 new restaurants. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, 2 burner stove top, microwave and all dishes, pots and utensils.

We are here now staying in a Presidential suite which is on the top floor with an Ocean View and private balcony. The resort is an amazing a 5 star resort imo. A Starwood Preferred property, right on the beach and within walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants, bars and clubs.

The presidential suite has 1 very spacious room with a queen sized fold up bed, a living area with TV, couch, safe, and a fully equipped kitchen area, with breakfast nook and full size refrigerator. Adjacent to this room is a private bedroom with King size bed, bathroom and it's own balcony.

What I love about this place is that you get daily maid service. They come in, give you new supplies, towels, clean up and make your bed.

The vacation club is adjacent to the hotel and has 2 pools, Jacuzzi, a slide for the kids, 4 or 5 restaurants right on the property and several shops

The only annoying thing is how they hassle you about attending timeshare presentation or owners updates. I have found that if you are very polite but firm, they get the message and stop harassing you.

This property also trades well with RCI. I deposited one of my weeks with RCI and actually had enough points to make 3 separate reservations at other properties in California. 2 in a 1BR unit and 1 in a 2BR. Not bad.

We loved this place! Great service, daily thorough housekeeping, quiet, walking distance to town ( or $4.00 taxi ride). Hair dryers in unit. Washer/dryers on site but not in unit. Only issue is the cooking facilities are very weak. Two burner electric "stove" (more like a hotplate) and very little in terms of kitchen equipment. There is a full size microwave. Plan on eating mostly cold meals (full size frig and dishwasher) which is easy to do because the grocery store is just a couple of blocks away. Also great restaurants in PV to choose from (try The Red Cabbage for outstanding Mexican food). If you take the pedestrian bridge at the airport to the other side of the street, the cabs are about 1/2 the price of the airport taxis. Pedestrian side taxis were 120 pesos in Nov. 2011.

The Buganvilias Resort is a tropical paradise with two pool areas that include large lap-size areas and children's areas that toddlers can walks in. Rooms are spacious and the kitchens are well-equipped. But the best features are the kind and helpful staff, and the fact that it is located within walking distance to over a hundred delicious restaurants and the nightly entertainment of the Malacon.

Beware to doing a timeshare presentation, not buying, then being offered a "PACKAGE DEAL" They put you in the oldest part of the resort, possible No balcony or even a cement slab to step out on to. Told we would have the same type of unit we were staying in (Tower). Not the case. Won't stay there again.

Bliss! This resort has everything I need to stay on property, if desired, and a very knowledgable Concierge to point me to great adventures off property! From our oceanfront balcony we watched mama and baby whales playing in The Bay of Banderas with our morning coffee. In the evenings we enjoyed some of the most magnificent sunsets we’ve ever seen. This vacation was a delight to the two foodies. From 5 star restaurants to local street vendors the food and accompanying experiences were exceptional. We highly recommend The Buganvilias Vacation Club!

We have been going to Buganvilias Resort for 34 years and love it. Close to the town and great restaurants. Being part of the Sheraton Hotel, all their amenities are available for our use including great restaurants and discounts or excursions...

2 bedroom, 2 bath villa in Puerto Vallarta 10 min walking distance from downtown. Upscale restaurants, street taco stands and grocery stores are just a few minutes from your doorstep. Do not miss the breathtakingly beautiful sunsets from poolside or while lounging on a chaise beach front. We have been visiting this resort for over 20 years! Staff will definitely treat you like family.

We have stayed several times at this resort and have never had any issues. Everyone is helpful and friendly and the accommodations are top-notch.

We love the Sheraton Buganvilias. It is a family resort so the atmosphere is more relaxing. The music will usually stop by midnight if there is a wedding or celebration. The downtown is so close & easy to walk. Only a couple of blocks to the downtown. Always people are walking even at night. Food is great. Service is excellent. We have been traveling there since 2000 & miss it when we cannot go.

This is an ideal location on an upper floor in the Buganvilias Resort. The view overlooks Rosita Beach, a little used rock beach, including its shoreline. The city lights are visible encircling the entire bay, plus you have the wonderful, calming sound of breaking waves on the shoreline. The Malecon starts just blocks away, with walking access to the entire city, and easy access to restaurants, galleries, etc. I'm uncertain that full service is available in this post-pandemic era.

I was here January 5-12. The unit was beautiful as it had been totally renovated. Master bedroom was large and opened to the balcony. Second bedroom had two queen beds. Kitchen was modern. We were on the sixth floor, corner unit beachfront. Pool is gorgeous as are the grounds and landscaping. It’s a bit of a walk to the malecon but we still did it every day. If you can get a renovated one, they are beautiful inside.

This is a wonderful place to have a vacation!! I love the swim up bar and awesome pools!!

Buganvilias Resort Vacation Club is a wonderful resort located a short walk from the Malecon. Resort is adjacent to Sheraton hotel for extra pool and services. Convenient bus and taxi service to all of Puerto Vallarta. This unit is a Presidential Suite with a combined hotel room and lock out with kitchen and queen murphy bed. 2 bath. 2 balcony.
