Ocean 22 was the first Myrtle Beach resort built by Hilton Grand Vacations. It has been a destination for my family every year since. It's location is ideal in that it is in the middle of the Myrtle Beach resort community. It is just a little way from the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. It is easy access to all of the Myrtle Beach restaurants and attractions, but also a very short distance from the Coastal Grand Mall.

The resort is right on the ocean with easy access. The rooms are spacious but if you are making reservations, there are motels on the north and south side of the resort. Be sure you are above the 12th floor to have an unrestricted view of the north or south sides of the oceanfront if you are not in an Oceanfront room. Historically, we have always rented an Oceanview room and never tire of watching the sun rise or the ocean waves or just enjoying the breeze from the balcony.

The rooms have all you need to make your week enjoyable. It has a full kitchen with all the plates and utensils you would need. Plus it has all stainless steel appliances (Microwave and dishwasher as well) As an added bonus, there is also a stacked washer and dryer in the unit as well.

As I said earlier, this is a must destination for my family every year. The staff is always welcoming along with many other amenities that I have not mentioned here.

There is also Valet parking as well as self parking. The self parking is free, the Valet parking is available for a fee which you would need to check when you check-in to the resort.

Finally, Great destination, family friendly, great beaches, and much fun awaits.

We love Ocean 22! Great location and attentive staff, and the indoor/outdoor pool is a great alternative when you want a break from the beach. They also include access to a water park and mini amusement park (go karts and mini golf), which my kids loved! Rooms are updated and clean, and there is a good selection of amenities from the marketplace to the poolside bar.

We’ve owned at Ocean 22 by Hilton Grand Vacations and it continues to be one of the best “easy button” vacations in Myrtle Beach—especially if you want a newer, clean, well-managed property right on the ocean.

The resort itself feels modern and upscale compared to a lot of the area. The building and common areas are well kept, and the overall experience is consistently polished. Check-in has always been smooth for us, and the team does a good job keeping things organized even during busy weeks.

The suites are the standout. Ours is a 2BR and it’s genuinely comfortable for more than just sleeping—plenty of room to spread out, and it feels like a real condo rather than a cramped hotel room. The layout is functional, the finishes are updated, and the overall cleanliness has been excellent in our stays. Having an in-unit kitchen and laundry makes longer stays much easier, especially with kids or multiple couples.

Views and beach access: If you’re booking an oceanfront/oceanview, the balcony time is worth it. The beach access is straightforward, and you’re right in the middle of everything without feeling stuck in a dated, noisy resort.

Amenities: The pool and indoor/outdoor options make it a strong choice even if the weather doesn’t cooperate. The property feels safe and family-friendly, but it also works well for adult trips because it’s not overly chaotic.

Location: This is another big win—Ocean 22 is close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions, and you can get to a lot of places without a long drive. It’s a great “park and enjoy” spot.

Who this is best for: Families, couples, and anyone who wants a cleaner, newer Myrtle Beach beachfront resort with condo-style space and Hilton-level consistency.

Great location, right on the beach. Spacious 3 bedroom. Close to everything! LOVE the beds. Having a full kitchen and washer/dryer are a great way to keep costs down. Staff is very accommodating.

We have stayed at Ocean 22 annually for over 10 years. The staff is great. The facilities are very clean. We have our favorite restaurants within walking distance. There is so much to do in the area. We love taking our son with us because it is so easy to keep him entertained with activities at the resort and nearby.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist, ensuring a welcoming experience. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the fully stocked kitchen—complete with all the cooking essentials—helps save money during your stay.

The private bedroom features a supremely comfortable mattress and can be closed off from the living room area, offering privacy for guests. The thoughtfully designed bathroom, with two separate entrances, makes sharing effortless.

For those seeking direct beach access and a picturesque pool and sunbathing area, Oceans 22 is simply unbeatable.

I absolutely love this hotel. Not only are the rooms beautiful, but the property with its pools and beach are perfect. I couldn't ask for a better experience with my family. Would give more stars if I could.

The resort is located within walking distance of restaurants. It is very clean and located ocean front. Very nice hot tub. It is one of our favorite HGVC resorts. We like going here in December.

Enjoy your Easter Vacation at this Newer Hilton Resort. The resort sits right on the beach. Rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. Plenty of activities for families at the resort. Close to all popular vacation destinations.

Oceanfront views are breathtaking. Rooms are clean and the staff is excellent. It's a close walk on the boardwalk or other fun things to do on the strip, plus many excellent restaurants nearby.

I had a quiet and relaxing stay with full amenities last March 2023. The hotel is a recent build so all is in very top-notch shape. So many things to do in the area and the beach is of course amazing!
