Our family has been staying at the Christie Lodge for decades! I love that they continually renovate the resort to keep it modern and comfortable. My kids love staying at the resort because it's one of the only ski resorts that has both an indoor and outdoor year round heated pool! The resort is very unique in that the ceiling is one big skylight and there's lots of natural light all day!

We have owned a 1 BR unit at Christie Lodge for over 40 years, always enjoying it. There was some construction in the area last year, but we did not find it bothersome. You are in the MIDDLE OF THE ACTION, WITH EASY ACCESS TO ALL THE VAIL VALLEY.

We've owned at the Christie Lodge for 4 years. One of the biggest advantages is being able to catch the shuttle right outside the lodge!! You park your car in the lot and never have to get in it for the entire week. Christie Lodge has been updating all the rooms. They've already completed upgrades to the outdoor heated swimming pool, large outdoor hot tub and we enjoy the fire pits near the pool.

For the those coming in from out of state, ski rental is a breeze with the ability to rent right inside Christie Lodge. We've also enjoyed the various restaurants within walking distance of Christie Lodge. One of our favorites is Vin48 which is across the street. Excellent Happy Hour food and prices and great wine.

For families with kids, there is an indoor ping pong table, 2 indoor hot tubs and we see families playing cards and board games frequently at the indoor tables.

The Kitchenette and small refrigerator has been perfect for us to get snacks and beverages. Many folks make meals in the room with the various skillets, pans in the kitchen. We don't cook while we are there, but the microwave, toaster and coffee machine are very helpful for making breakfast and after-ski snacks before heading out for dinner.

We stay during Spring Break week! What a beautiful time to ski the mountains!! Typically sunny, warm and plenty of ski terrain. We also ski Arrowhead which has great moderate runs and not as busy as Vail and Beaver Creek.

Staff are pleasant and friendly. They promptly respond if you need a lightbulb changed etc.

We have been owners at the Christie Lodge for over 20 years, and are in awe at the beauty of nature, cleanliness, and amenities every time we visit. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay one that you'll remember forever. There are endless opportunities for enjoyment ... pools, hot tubs, game tables, fitness center, and transportation to all that Vail Valley has to offer! Shop and dine without even leaving the lodge if you wish, or use the grills in the courtyard. Take the tram up to the top of Beaver Creek, playground of the rich and famous! We love it here, new discoveries whenever we come. You can't beat it ... !

Excellent location with free buses to the mountain right outside the door. Within a block of grocery store and liquor store right in front of the Lodge. Everything is within walking distance. Hot tubs are fantastic at the end of the ski day!

Great place to stay while enjoying activities during all 4 seasons of the year. World-class snow skiing resorts just minutes away from your door!

Excellent location in the heart of Avon, CO -- proximity to Vail, Beaver Creek and Arrowhead. Great for families! Many activities on the premises: ping pong, game room, swimming pools, hot tubs. Restaurants on premises and numerous local area restaurants within walking distance.

The fire place, balcony, view, activities, contact, staff, pool, jacuzzi, parking, and room! It was super immaculate clean even the kitchen!. Nice linen, spacious accommodations, newly renovated, convenient location to restaurants, grocery store, ski rental! Thumbs up to Subway and Vietnamese restaurant on the property. Bus/Skiers shuttle to Beaver Creek and Vail were awesome. Great staff. Everyone was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.

Several posts are in error. One mentioned this was a converted hotel (it is not). We bought a 3br/3bath on opening day and have seen no less than three major remodels since hte early 80's. Location is fantastic unless you are looking for a ski in/out in which case you are in the wrong place. This place is for people who want to ski with or without their families. Very functional with convenience being the key word. Restaurants, ski shop, sauna, hot tubs and two pools on site. Covered garage. When we come, we park the car and rarely use it during the week. The city bus takes you everywhere and is free and clean.

Downsides: it is a bit dated. Kitchen has no oven so it is really a kitchenette. Summers are hot. (winters are obviously fine). Strange hallways with multiple levels have aleays been frustrating. Single rooms are a bit small but the three bedrooms are great for 1 to 3 couples plus a few kids.

The Lodge went through a recent remodel but I have not seen it yet. Reports have been favorable.

The location is excellent as I like to use this for home base and luxury relaxation as my husband camps every summer.

I spend one day in Vail (excellent shopping and dining), one in the mountains hiking Yampa, a day driving the Shrine pass down to Red Cliff where I always see something breathtaking (I am a photographer), a day in Steamboat Springs some years, a day at the spa in Glenwood Springs others, some years a day in Aspen.

Christie Lodge in Avon is central to all and then I usually take one day in the middle of the week just to read and relax and look at the mountains from the balcony. The library is nearby (library cards are free) with a nice park, and good restaurants and a City Market (upscale grocery) are all within walking distance of the timeshare, so everything you need is handy. This is one of the most beautiful spots in the US, so go prepared to see the nearby sights and enjoy!

I,ve been an owner 20 years. All amenities are conveniently located. Beautiful area and drive from Denver or anywhere. It's easy to reserve a unit or use bonus time. Lots of activities. I"ve exchanged my units over the years using RCI to super places in the US and all over the world, never had a problem, because Christie has a very high priority exchange rating. It is very well-kept and all the help are super friendly. It is the best ski area, anywhere in US.

We stayed in one bedroom condo in March 2006 - 3 people. This resort has 2 types of units - one or three bedrooms. The one bedroom unit has one queen bed in the bedroom area and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Some people state that a little sitting bench in the hallway could also be used as a bed - I don't share that opinion.

Pluses: non-smoking, clean, modern, well maintained unit, nicely equipped kichen, wood burning fireplace, premium TV channels + DVD player, ceiling fan in the bedroom, close to expressway, with several restaurants and food store within walking distance.

Minuses: unit very small, bedroom w/o window to open, limited Internet access, Subway restaurant "smell" inside the resort.

Altogether good value for the money for 4 people max. - do not trust anybody who says you could accomodate 5-6 people in the one bedroom unit!

Beautiful location, lots art throughout village. Opera located in Beaver Creek. Lots great restaurants. On site ski rental, and bus out front to slopes.

Such a great location for Beaver Creek. Hop in the bus right at the lodge and get dropped off right at the mountain. Great restaurants within walking distance also.

Recently remodeled units with a built-in Murphy bed and updated kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Steps to local restaurants, shops, grocery and bakeries. On bus line to Beaver Creek Ski Area. Fantastic location!

Christie Lodge has always been the best vacation to the mountains for my family. We love the atmosphere, the restaurants, the closeness to skiing and having FUN!

As an owner, Christie Lodge has been an excellent winter home base for skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing at Beaver Creek and in the Vail Valley. The free town shuttle stops right outside the property, making getting to the slopes easy and hassle-free. The one-bedroom suites are spacious and comfortable, with a separate living area, kitchenette, and a cozy fireplace that’s perfect after a day on the mountain.

The pool and hot tubs are a great amenity in winter, and the lodge is consistently clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming. Christie Lodge delivers great value, comfort, and convenience, which is why we have always enjoyed our winter stays.
