We have owned at this resort since it was first built. Loved it so much we were married on the beach right alongside the resort. This is a perfect beach vacation location, and only 45 minutes away from historic Williamburg and Busch Gardens.

Great oceanfront resort and 2 bedroom that sleeps 8 is awesome. Love the indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center!!!

Great oceanfront resort in the middle of Virginia Beach Street entertainment. Very family friendly environment. Walk or bike on the boardwalk and bike path which is right in front of the resort. There is an indoor pool, jacuzzi and exercise room on main floor as well as a restaurant.

great place to stay. central location and lots of space. Oceanfront for most rooms. One of the largest 1 bedrooms on the boardwalk.

We stayed in unit 709 with a city view from 6/30 to 7/07/18. The check-in process was very late (supposed to be 4PM but was actually 630PM) but we had warning by surveying other sites for reviews. It appears that they do not have enough staff for a timely turnover of the rooms. So be prepared! We went to eat and came back. In fairness the front desk manager made some amends to us for the late check-in.

The room was excellent. We knew we had city view while booking but actually we had a partial view of the beach from the bedroom, but no other rooms. The kitchen was large, modern and well stocked. The living room was a bit worn but spacious. The bedroom (we had a 1 bedroom unit, no kids) was a bit small and really had no drawers, but rather had a lot of shelving in the closet. There was no maid service during the week we were there and that was a bit strange because usually it is at least once in the week. On the other hand anything that was asked of the staff was done quickly, towel changes, coffee, coffee filters, etc. Just a note, the showers were good and the elevators excellent, virtually no wait throughout the week even though we were there July 4th week.

Downside? If there was to be no maid service there should be a broom and pan as well as small vacuum in room for some basic use in the room. Also, a small bottle of all-purpose cleaner would have been nice.

Overall we had a great room for a very good price at one of the busiest times of the year.

Located at the heart of Virginia Beach with all the amenities just a walk outside the resort. Provided for a great experience that captured the essence of Virginia Beach.

This is ocean front resort. You can see sunrise and sunset right at balcony or living room or from kitchen. It's a short walking distance to fishing pier and fair.

Wonderful Oceanfront, one bedroom condo with a full kitchen right in the middle of the Virginia Beach boardwalk. Many restaurants and activities in walking distance and the VB trolley takes you anywhere along the 3 mile boardwalk. The resort has a pool, fitness center, restaurant and daily activities for children and adults.

We stayed at the Boardwalk Villas in July, 2008 and enjoyed our time greatly. We have three kids, 15, 11 and 8 and they were always entertained. The grounds, condo and beach is beautifully maintained. A great family place. You can take the trolley up and down the strip or just walk it. Very safe. Bands, acts, fireworks in the evenings. Just get out and people watch! As others mentioned, it is right in the middle of the strip with all of the action. Ask whoever you rent from to request a high level floor/ocean front room and enjoy!

Our experience at the Villas at the Boardwalk was excellent! The unit was modern, clean, spacious w/up to date furnishings, kitchen & bath. The location of the resort is right in the middle of all the action! Shops, restaurants & best of all the beach! My family couldn't have had a more perfect time. I highly recommend this property to the family that like choices & comfort while on vacation.

Virginia Beach is a treat to all who come to visit . Having grown up 3 hrs from Va. Beach it was a every other yr. trip for my family. I must say it got rough and tough 20yrs ago because of the armed Service men. To my surprise after deciding to veer off in or travel I told my wife lets cut through where I vacationed as a child and see what's happened to the Place. Surprise Surprise This was a hidden treasure that had come to life as a family city. Beach that was to rival those from Florida. Board walk for activities, stores shops, food and music pavilions with life and kids enjoying everything that was offered. Needles to say 3 yrs now and 3 timeshares later its my families Vacation location. Ok now the resort has very Updated furnishings and very clean. Responsive staff and just about in the center of all summer activities that are going on. There is a restraunt on site offering great food and outside dinning overlooking the Ocean and Boardwalk. All units are Float it just depends on if you Own a "Ocean front" float, The unit # would be different each yr but still Ocean front. We love the trolle that take us up-down the strip with out driving. Va.beach is a great place to visit if only just once.

This resort offers some of the best lodging available in Virginia Beach. Staff was friendly. The RockFish grille was tasty, if a bit expensive. Access to the boardwalk and the very well-kept beach was phenomenal. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Virginia Beach lacks a certain "quaintness", so enjoy the ocean as much as you can.

That being said, I want to warn anyone who plans to rent or buy a unit at this resort to be VERY CAREFUL in finding out if the unit in question has an ocean-side balcony, or an Atlantic Avenue balcony. (All of the units ending with the digits "09" actually face Atlantic Avenue, and there may be others with less-than-ideal orientations.) We got stuck renting from an owner on this site who was absolutely NOT clear about the fact that our "floating" unit (1009) faced Atlantic Avenue. They may have even been deceptive in saying that we could enjoy Independence Day fireworks from the balcony (true, if they meant the fireworks 18 miles away in Portsmouth). So, although we got to see the F/A-18 Hornets flying over the town, instead of ocean views and breezes -- we were also treated to views of the rooftops of various seafood buffets, t-shirt shops, "Professor Cline's Time Machine", and a mysteriously nauseating smell that seemed to combine waffles and over-fried chicken.

The lesson -- you can enjoy a stay at the Villas in Virginia Beach -- just do your homework a little better than we did.

I just stayed in a one bedroom at the Boardwalk on the April vacation (school break). Our unit was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was spacious with a separate room for the toilet which was convenient with the five of us and one bathroom. Some of the one bedroom units have a pull-out sofa in living room as well as a pull- out sofa in the bedroom in addition to the queen bed. Ours was like this so we were able to comfortably sleep the 5 of us.

The balcony had a great ocean view (5th floor) but there was no screen on the slider door which would have been nice. The indoor pool looked a little small but we never found it overcrowded. The beach access was superb - right outside the hotel door. We had a luggage carrier on top of our minivan so we had to park on the 2nd floor (there's only 3 floors) of the parking garage. There are a few spots specifically marked for oversized cars. We were afraid that we may come back to the parking garage at night to find no oversized spots left but this never happened. There was always a spot. However, it was difficult parking. There didn't seem to be enough room with the large concrete pillars and other cars. We sometimes had to manuever our car several different ways to get out of our spot.

What made this place stand out from some others I've stayed in was the friendliness of all staff members and quick response to our requests. everyone was friendly and helpful. Even when we ended up in an elevator with a staff member, he introduced himslef to us and make polite small talk. Everywhere we went we were greeted by a friendly hello from staff. We had a small maintenance repair that needed attention and the front desk said they would send someone up immediately and they did. The front desk even called 30 minutes later to make sure everything had been taken care of. We made a few requests from housekeeping (toilet paper, trash bags) and they brought the items up immediately. In additon to the front desk, they have a Guest Services booth which has a person to answer questions. I inquired where the nearest supermarket was and how late it was open and the woman looked up the number and called for me to find out.

I would definitely stay here again!

we stayed at this resort and feel the same pretty much the resort is small but clean and nicely decor... The staff was always busy cleaning . the parking is very tight .it only goes to the 3rd floor and the rest you have t take the elevator .. we ate downstairs at the rockfish which was very good ,:) and very clean.. we visited and stayed at other resorts in vb and williamsburg also and if you have any questions please just email us .. thanks

BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!!! BEST PLACE TO STAY IN VIRGINIA BEACH... WATER IS WARM !!! LOTS OF THINGS TO DO AND IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING! THE ONLY PLACE I WOULD STAY ON VIRGINIA BEACH.. THE RESTAURANT DOWNSTAIRS NOT GREAT - SO TAKE FREE SHUTTLE TO ANY RESTAURANT ON THE CITY SIDE or MANY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE AND BUY A CHAIR AT THE DOLLAR STORE - NO RENTAL CAR NEEDED - NO RENTAL CHAIRS NEEDED ON THE BEACH!!!! BEAUTIFUL WALKING BEACH - VERY CLEAN

We rented a 2 bedroom unit, it was smaller than we expected (we are used to Marriott units) and the washer dryer was a coin operated unit in the hall). There were oniy 4 of us plus a baby and it was a very tight fit. The resort also imposes a mandatory daily fee for safe in room wherther you used it or not. The complex is centrally located with a parking garage.

One of the nicest resorts in the area. I would recommend this resort to anyone who likes to stay at a beautiful, brand new place with a nice restaurant and great location.

Overall Service very good. Very clean. Nicer than expected. Area food "adequate" - better to take a ride. I would recommend this resort.

Over 2 decades of fun family memories on the Boardwalk of Virginia Beach. The kids bicycled here & experienced all the free shows offered during the summer including the circus & acrobatic shows, concerts, sand painting, etc.

A beautiful view of the ocean. Located on the Boardwalk which provides easy access to so many activities, restaurants, and of course the beach!
