I've stayed a week at this Resort as recently as last May. It has been beautifully renovated. I stayed there years ago. If you need something, just ask. All the help are extremely helpful. They went out of their way for me. Last May I was there just to rest up before heading up to Alaska. But I have stayed north of there--Carlsbad, and in every other Timeshare Resort on down to San Diego itself. I am an older lady but my deceased spouse and I have been to almost every tourist attraction San Diego has to offer. My father's ashes were strewn in the Pacific as that is where he (a retired Navy officer) wanted them. I have eaten at many of the delicious restaurants in the area and also shopped at Whole Foods, Trader Joes and the local grocers. At this resort I did a lot of my own cooking. When it was still safe I always took a bus ride to Tijuana and places further south for a day. San Diego and this area is my favorite spot in the world and I have seen close to half the world.

We returned after 3 years - furnature and rugs were old, and the room on the parking lot was noisy, patio dirty - left early, won't return.

Perhaps owners get better treatment than do those who trade for a week, but in the future I will trade to a resort that appreciates guests.

The location is excellent. The beach is very close as well as SeaWorld and the S.D. zoo. We also enjoyed the pool, spa, gym and tennis courts.

The units are a converted older apartment building. It is fairly well maintained, however, in our room we had a cockroach, and need of minor repairs to the bathtub, light fixtures and refrigerator.

The resort is adjacent to a main street. So, if you are noise sensitive, request an inside room.

Racetrack fans this is your place. perfect time of the year to enjoy the Del Mar Racetrack. Free shuttle to and from the track

Fantastic location in Solana Beach - walking distances to restaurants and Del Mar Race Track. Close to Del Mar, Torrey Pines and all of N SD County. Not huge but big enough with all of the amenities! Good sized pool and hot tub. Plenty of loungers and tables around the pool area. Separate kiddie pool. Fire pits with rocking chairs. Several very clean BBQs with BBQ tools and lovely bar top tables. Ping pong table, laundry room and rec room with a billiard table and lounge/TV area.

The best thing about this resort is the location -- just minutes to the beach, and if you are so inclined, directly across from the Race Track. But the staff and comfort is top-notch as well. It looks like the resort has been kept up well with periodic refreshes in all the areas.

Beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit on second floor overlooking courtyard and pool. Conveniently located just off I-5 California, 20 miles or so north of San Diego and mere blocks from downtown Solana Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Resort is meticulously maintained at all times.

We chose to buy here because of the location- we love to walk to the beach in the morning, and walk to the race track in the afternoon or fine dining in the evenings. The atmosphere is so pleasant! The courtyard is perfectly laid out for maximum relaxation and every amenity is available! From laundry to gym to rec room. Having a full kitchen and 2 full bathrooms is just the added bonus!

It is a perfect location for people who like the beach and want to be across the street from the racetrack during horse racing season.

Great location overlooking the Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds.

Resort has an excellent location for conveniently accessing San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Legoland as well as beaches and restaurants in La Jolla, Del Mar, Encinitas and Carlsbad. Property is well maintained and property upgrades are made regularly by HOA. Property is good for families as the units are constructed in a square surrounding a pool and bbq area. Two restaurants on site and many others nearby.

Front staff is very friendly. The assistant manager is very helpful and willing to listen and help out. The resort is near restaurants and supermarkets. They provide swim towels so don’t have to bring them.

Close to everything; beach, shopping, track and a plethera of restaurants. The unit is on the main floor of the complex. Nice private patio (the biggest one) with access to the pool area. Full size kitchen. Have owned this unit for 20 years.

Excellent resort , especially for fans of superb racing at one of the premier tracks in the country. The shuttle service provides door to door transportation. Updated accommodations and pool and spa facilities provide a comfortable stay, and not forgetting the close by beach, restaurants, and shopping.

Beautiful tropical grounds. Comfortable beds & furniture. Perfect location, across the street from the famous Delmar Race track, with free shuttle to & from race track. Wonderful restaurant & lounge on the grounds.

Great location, especially if you're visiting Del Mar Racetrack. Very close to the beach, and a short drive to San Diego. Quiet resort with nice pool and tennis club.
