Marriott's Kauai Beach Club Reviews & Ratings

We are owners here and were last at the resort for Spring Break 2008. My husband and I have 3 teenagers and this was their first trip to Kauai. They loved it. Here are some of the things we would recommend you do while at the Marriott Kauai:

1. Attend the Monday morning Island Activity Orientation. When we were there, the speaker was very entertaining, funny and informative. At the end, he raffled off free gift certificates and we won free surf lessons for two. He told us of the best luau, sightseeing tours, and other activities. We took him up on a few of them -- listed here!

2. Surf Lessons! Especially if 2 go for free. We bought our 3rd child the lessons and had a great time watching them all learn to surf. Titus Kinimaka's Hawaiian School of Surfing, on the north shore, in Hanalei. http://www.hawaiianschoolofsurfing.com/

3. Or Stand-up Paddle Surfing. We didn't try it, but we saw a lot of people doing it. I've heard it's becoming more and more popular.

4. Kauai's Only Oceanfront Luau at the Sheraton-Poipu Beach. Not sure if it still is the only oceanfront luau, but it sure was fun. Our teenagers even loved it! 5. Shave Ice. Not shaved ice, SHAVE ice. Think snow-cone with syrup flavors. A very simple thing, but once we had our first helping we tried them everywhere we went. We tried different flavors each time. Simple fun.

6. Waimea Canyon. The Grand Canyon of Kauai. Breath-taking views of the canyon and rivers. Just gorgeous.

7. Spouting Horn. Waves send water through a blowhole that spits the water out 10+ feet in the air.

8. Duke's Canoe Club Restaurant. Right on the hotel grounds. Great food, cool t-shirts.

9. Wailua Falls. We never made it to the falls, but we heard from others that they are beautiful.

10. Sail the Na Pali Coast. Another trip we did not make, but wanted to. We'll just have to go back again.

We didn't get to a lot of the island activities because we were having fun on the property in the pool or on the beach. There is plenty to do without ever leaving the resort. Have fun!

This is our favorite resort on Kauai it’s OPULENT it is 4 star accomodations and marble everywhere beautiful staircases and hallways with OPEN AIR HUGE STONE STRUCTURES AROUND THE POOL DIVINE LANDSCAPING AND THE OCEAN IS RIGHT THERE FRONT AND CENTER THE ROOMS ARE PRECIOUS WITH TOP OF THE LINE LINENS AND JUST REMODELLED BEFORE COVID SO THEY HAVENT HAD MUCH USE ITS PERFECT the one bedroom SLEEPS 4 easily Dukes on property delicious !!!

Best pool in Hawaii. Free shuttle service rocks

We have owned at KBC for 22 years and are impressed with the recently completed timeshare villa renovations including new furniture and carpets, draperies and extremely comfortable beds, and a redesigned galley mini-kitchen counter. The views of the beach and bay are unbeatable. The resort renovated the Kukui restuarant that will provide beach-side dining at the grill and a sushi bar beach side as well. The staff as always is friendly and helpful.

A short distance from the airport on Kauai, the Kauai Beach Club has probably the best swimming pool and unique beach I have ever seen. The Oceanfront unit has a perfect view of the harbor for watching the cruise ships enter and leave the small mouth of the harbor.

Ocean front unit, only 11 in the entire resort. Own a PLATINUM week and have the flexibility to book any week in 2022 depending on availability. Current have reserved the Christmas week starting on Friday, December 23, 2022.

We had a great stay at the Marriott Beach Club on Kauai. Being central on the island, all island highlights are a short drive. The beachfront location is excellent, with beautiful views and easy access to restaurants and shopping. The resort is very well maintained, the grounds are immaculate and loved the large pool with multiple hot tubs.

Our accommodations were clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the staff was friendly and professional. Overall, it’s our favorite place for a relaxing (or adventurous) Kauai vacation.

We have owned here for over 20 years and have stayed at Kauai Beach Club EVERY YEAR. This year we are unable to use the resort so some lucky folks will get to enjoy it. The room (s) are perfect for two couples. Both have bathrooms one a queen murphy bed and kitchen the other a king bed. Kauai is the Garden Isle, less crowded and less expensive than Oahu or Maui. You will love your 8 night stay.

Beautiful resort on the prettiest beach / bay in all of Hawaii. Oceanfront rooms are really oceanfront with an excellent view of the beach, mountains in the distance plus the gentle sound of the surf to rock you to sleep each night. Dukes restaurant right on the property serving excellent Hawaii fare in an upscale oceanfront setting yet fairly priced. The one bedroom plus 2 full bathroom units make for a delightful room with each person having their own bathroom or easy to have two extra people use the fold down bed in the Livingroom.

I have had this 2 bedroom Villa since 1996 and have gone nearly every year. Service has always been excellent. Restaurants in the area are great. Weather in July excellent. Great place to just kickback and relax.

Marriott Kauai Beach Club is our happy place! We bought here 25 years ago and get there as much as we can! Beautiful views, convenient location, no crowds. Highly recommend!

This was our favorite resort in Hawaii. It was because of this beautiful paradise we got married there in 2006. A great location to access Wiamea Canyon to the west or Princeville to the north

This is an amazingly beautiful ocean front resort that is a must-see and stay at if you and your family are travelling to Hawaii. Your precious memories will last a lifetime! Enjoy a special Thanksgiving this year and create lasting memories.

This is a beautiful MVC property! It will be a great spot for a family VACA, or a couple’s getaway! Wonderful views and a nice fitness room.

This unit is Oceanfront not ocean view. A place you'll never forget. The beach, restaurants, pool, shops - the entire resort is first class. Well located on one of nature's most beautiful islands, one can enjoy a whole vacation and never leave the resort or easily explore (rent a car) the whole island - either way the Marriott Kaua'i Beach Club is an experience of a lifetime.

This is a fantastic property and location. A great beach for swimming and all water sports. Restaurants on property and nearby. A great place to relax and enjoy the Aloha spirit.

If you are looking for that classic, grand Hawaiian resort feel, this is it. Located on Kalapaki Beach, the resort is designed with a unique circular architecture that frames one of the most impressive pools in the islands. The Rooms The units are spacious, which is a huge plus for families or longer stays. Most rooms offer kitchenettes or full kitchens, allowing for some "at-home" meal prep. While some areas of the resort show their age slightly compared to the ultra-modern luxury resorts on the North Shore, the rooms are well-maintained, clean, and offer fantastic views of either the lush gardens or the ocean.

One of the best resorts on Kauai. Oceanfront rooms are amazing! 1 Bedroom with 2 bathrooms. The beds are extremely comfortable. The rooms are spacious with 2 great bathrooms and a kitchenette and 2 refrigerators. Listen to the ocean all night with a view of the moonlight. Paddle board, kayak or surf on the beach. Go to a luau, learn how to hula, or if you just want to relax in the spa with a massage on the beach. The best vacation you will take anywhere! It is well worth it for the beauty, kindness, and warmth of one of the most beautiful of the Hawaiian islands. Great excursions outside of the resort. The Marriott staff will help you book moonlit cruises, zip lining, hiking Waimea Canyon. You will never forget the beautiful memories during this week.
