We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe unit. It was just beautiful, roomy and sleeps 8. We were only 4 but used both bedrooms and both bathrooms. The staff was very helpful. Attended the opening party which gives an overview of what is here for the week. It turns out that it is really free country music show. the pools are good and they have activities like build a bear that our grandaughter enjoyed. Also there are shows on the premisis that we didn't have time to attend. It is walking distance to opryland and the grand ole opry. I would difinately recommend this for a family vacation.

We have stayed at this resort many times in different seasons over the past few years. It has always been a great place to stay. It has the standard Fairfield/Wyndham Resort look and feel. We especially love how close it is to Opry Mills Mall and Opryland (almost across the street).

A couple of the buildings don't have elevators, so if you have trouble with stairs you'll want to request the buildings that do have them. There also has been some construction or remodeling going on, but that is because they seem to care about keeping things attractive. We will definitely be back for another stay while we are in Nashville.

Just stayed for one week in Building 12, which is right next to the amenities center. Our unit was old and needed updating. Nicks in the furniture, old carpet, old TV's, a dining room chair that was from another set, etc. The staff was very friendly and of course we were invited down to speak to a staff member to participate in what they told us was a survey. Having been on a lot of sales pitches, we told them we were not interested. They told us that this was a once a year survey they do to better serve their customers and assured us it was not a sales presentation. So we went and sure enough it was a sales pitch. The guy we had was pretty decent though and when I told him I thought this was a survey and if he was trying to sell us an upgrade we would just be wasting his time listening to him he got us out of there.

The resort is located in a pretty good spot to use as your jump off point. It is right down the street from Opryland and very close to I 40. One thing I did not like is the lack of security. There is no gate at the entrance and no fence or wall around the property. The back side units are right across the street from residential houses as well. The only thing separating the pool areas from anyone walking down the street is a small row of thin bushes.

All in all, OK at best. My wife and I have stayed in about a dozen resorts and although this one is not the worst, it definitely was in the bottom 3 or 4.

We stayed in this resort for a week in June 2007. We really enjoyed the location, right by the Opryland complex. The unit we were in was very nice, a large 2 bedroom unit, beautifully furnished. We spent our time visiting Nashville, so didn't check out what there was to do at the resort itself, although we did come back one day and heard some good singing from a concert they were giving outside on the grounds. I was disappointed not to be attending a couple of free shows the resort offered, including the Texas Troubador show which they bus you to, but Nashville kept calling us out.

We will gladly visit this resort again.

We were very pleased with this resort. The staff was both friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well kept. We didn't have the kids with us this time so we were in a 1 BR unit. We did go to a sales presentation and our sales person did not give us a hard sell.

For music lovers, Nashville is fun. Be sure to take the back stage tour of the Grand Ole Opry and take a few hours to wander around the Gaylord Opryland Hotel gardens. Amazing.

The rooms were sort of spacious and nice looking. Resort was kind of on the small side. Not much to do on property, but close to several attractions and far from others. The one problem was with the hard sell. we went to the seminar to see how much it was to buy. When they sent over the RCI "specialist" we had to hold onto our wallets! I have been to many sales meetings, but never anything thing like this one. The "specialist" kept telling us to sign a paper so that RCI can release information about our timeshare so he could value it properly, that is was only for release of information. However the document was a sale agreement to join their points system, with blanks where the cost was! He out and out lied, he kept telling us you have to sign, I could lose my licence by requesting information without a signed form. I read it and asked him where the release of information was. It wasnt there! He kept trying to get us to sign the form with blank spaces by lying to us! I have a copy of the form and I am going to send it to the attorney general. I have never seen such deceit. Beware if you go here, you might be agreeing to buy a timeshare and not even know it!

I have been to may Fairfield locations and this by far is the worst I have been. The facilities that my family stayed in was not up to par. They do not have a place for activities to take place, so instead they use the center where you check in. With that being said I hope no one tries to check in on the days they decide to have a large activity because they set up chairs in front of the entrance and you cannot get in. We found there really isn't many activities for kids and the resort staff wasn't all that friendly, with the exception of about 3 staff members, We will not go back and had this been the first timeshare I had visited I would not own with Fairfield. However I am an owner and I love my home resort which is Fairfield Smoky Mountains.

We stayed on the second floor of unit #12 over Easter. Loved the spaciousness of the two bedroom unit and the decor. The only downside was the noise level of the pool (it stayed open until 11:00 p.m.) and surrounding balconies. We tend to be early risers and it seemed most of the people staying here were night owls and were loud. I would stay here again but would try to get a little further away from the pool area. L.F. We visited this lovely resort for four days in early December 2005. It is conveniently located to several attractions (i.e. Opryland, Opry Mills, Music Valley) Even The Hermitage and downtown were no problem to get to. (Nashville is busy working on their highways, however.) Resort check in was early and prompt; the unit - a 2 bedroom deluxe was most comfortable and well- appointed - only needs another hair dryer in 2nd bath. Didn't plan on cooking much, and if you do, it has only basic supplies, which was fine with us. Activities were numerous and welcome (sampling of area music, frequent breakfasts, pie & ice cream in afternoons) Shuttle bus runs on some days to save you driving downtown at night. All in all, we were most pleased and already have reservations again in the spring.

Our family has stayed at Fairfield Nashville on a couple occasions. The resort is relatively new and the units are very large. Nice decor, especially liked the separate whirlpool room. Pool and exercise area are well maintained and a pleasure to use. Resort location is great, right across the road from the Opryland Hotel and Grand Old Opry.

Tile is press and stick in kitchen & bath. It looks like it too. Deluxe room on B side does not have a spa or garden tub. I would not stay there again. If this is the first timeshare you ever visit you may think this one is great. However, spend 10 years traveling to timeshares and you will quickly see Fairfield Nashville needs help, help in the activity department and interior design.
