Casa Dorada at Medano Beach Reviews & Ratings

We just spent two weeks at this Resort with our two young children 7 and 10. We purchased our 2 bedroom in March of 2008 and were concerned about the noise from the beach area which was never a concern. It was a little noisy around 4pm when the bar on the beach had its little competitions going but it was not really that bad and after the first week you did not even notice it. The staff at the Resort were great coming around the pool and asking us for input on the music that we would like to hear, bringing cold towels and we never had an issue getting a good loung chair or seat around the pool anytime of day. The loung chairs and beds were at most times avaialable and the service was good with the people selling things respecting the roped off area. The Ocean was absolutely magnificent to swim in. We ate a little around the pool but for the most part either cooked in our room or walked within 10 minutes of the Resort which included more restaurants than we could mention with everything and anything that you can think of. The Resort will need to make their prices much more attractive with the food and drinks to get us to eat there because we have so many options for much less outside the Resort but the food we did have was excellent. We never had any issues with noise at night or really even during the day. Any young people were very respective of the other people staying at the Resort and perhaps security assisted to make certain this happened.

Not because we own at this property but I have spent 7 years going to Cabo and I personally think this property is the best in the area because of its location, security and they did not cheap out on the loung chairs or furntiure in the rooms.

If we could have we would have stayed another month or two but all good things come to an end and we are looking forward to next year. To the staff at Casa Dorada Medano Beach well done and please keep improving and dont let a good thing change. Cheers

We have been going to this resort for over 10 years and it has been a real treat at Casa Dorada. The staff is amazing. The rooms are big. Very nice kitchen. Penthouse is amazing with JACUZZI on patio. Great views. This place is at the heart of Cabo, You can walk or take a short taxi ride to anywhere in town.

Right in the middle of everything on Medano beach. Next to "the Office", the Mango Deck, Sand Bar, SUR, the Baja Breweing Co. and many others. A short walk to the marina and downtown. New and contemporary with great service. The location can't be beat!

Staff treats you like royalty. You can't ask for a better location. Swimmable Beach and the resort is surrounded by some of the best restaurants in Cabo. A 5 minute walk to the Marina and Downtown to all the hot spots.

I have been traveling to Cabo for 18 years and Casa Dorada is one of the best Resorts in the area. I spent 1 week split between 2 Pueblo Bonita resorts (not very nice accommodations, very timesharish) and while we were there they were building this resort. We did the tour and meet the management team, then ended up buying a Penthouse on a fixed week. It was our honeymoon and we wanted a place we could bring our family year after year and enjoy the excitement of being on the bay, but having a luxury resort to stay at. Well we have been occupying our week for 4 years now and every year it gets better, the resort gets better and the experience is better.

First off you can't get a better location, you have access to everything by foot or if you want you can get a taxi (not needed for much). But we mainly spend our time in our Penthouse (its beautiful) or on the beach in one of the many cabanas (that are free to guests). The restaurant 9-tribes is great and the absolute best restaurant in Cabo, Ediths, is right next door. Plus you have all the party spots on the beach right in front of the hotel, so its always very alive and energizing. If you looking for a romantic and quiet resort this is not it. But if you are looking for a 5-star resort that promotes fun, family & relaxation, Casa Dorada is the place for you.

Casa Dorada at Medano Beach is a fabulous resort. Staff is friendly with excellent service. Location, location, location is the BEST. Right behind "The Office" at Medano Beach. It's a short walk to downtown Cabo San Lucas, the Marina, and shopping. Food is excellent with many great restaurants in walking distance. We have stayed at CD at Medano Beach many times and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cabo.

My home resort for a reason. Been going there for 15 years The staff stays the same for the most part. Very friendly and local to everything down town.

Great view and amenities including a jacuzzi. This unit also has a huge deck that runs the whole length of the penthouse. Plus you can walk to everything. This is a first class resort with a perfect location!

The service is unmatched. Have never waited for any requests regarding our stay. Pool staff is amazing. We’ve never been disappointed in the dining options. Other quality restaurants are in walking distance

Daily maid service. Beds are very comfortable and high quality bedding.

The unit is walking distance to downtown and shopping.

Lots of water sports and the only swimable beach in Cabo.

We love Casa Dorada at Medano Beach and have enjoyed going there since it was built. The location, staff/service, and cleanliness cannot be beat! Great resort for family or adult fun.

Have made yearly visits to Casa Dorada at Medano Beach for every year since opening over 10 years ago. Great location on the beach, walkable into town and close to beach bars such as Mango Deck and The Office, as well as many resturants in the local area. This room has direct view of Lands End and Cabo's Playa. We love the location.

Excellent resort right on the beach, the beach is roped off so you may sun bathe without interruption by vendors that walk the beach. There is a swim up pool bar and they have a fine restaurant. There is a full kitchen and Walmart is just 3 walking blocks away to get snacks for the kidos. Staff is very friendly. Great resort that is close to everything!

Casa Dorada is one of our family's FAVORITE resorts. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to the marina and downtown. Their fire-baked pizza and sushi bar are top notch. Excellent service poolside! The penthouse is fabulous!! A full kitchen, large living room and a deck with the hot tub are amazing. We always take a boat over to the arch and Lover's Beach. We have also rented a pontoon boat out of the marina and saw whales spouting and jumping! Weather is seriously always sunny!!

This unit is right in the middle if all the action! A corner unit with two balconies - main living area and main bedroom both overlooking Medano Beach with breathtaking views. Beautiful resort on the beach with it's own private beach club and several resturants. Service is impeccable!
