There is no place on earth more serene and beautiful than Princeville, and no better place to stay in Princeville than the Westin Ocean Villas.

Our piece of heaven! Not a bad moment since we became owners before it even opened. Lots to do or nothing to do! Great restaurants in Hanalei. We would be glad to transfer our reservations for Restaraunt Ama to you . . . very hard to get! Or enjoy the barbecues while sipping beverages as the sun goes down!

This resort has great staff, the restaurant has excellent meals. It’s a beautiful island with lush, green forests and waterfalls. The reason we gave it a lower review than others is because of the influx of the prolific amount of Nenne Hawaiian goose ( a cousin to the Canada goose) walking around. These birds have free reign over the resort and are allowed to swim in the various pools, defecate all over the property and are strictly protected ( you are not allowed to even shoo them away). Due to the above we would not swim in the pools due to the concern about bird fecal contamination. We probably wouldn’t return.

The Westin Princeville is by far my favorite resort! Princeville, located on the north side of the island, is the most beautiful part of the island. Truly a Garden of Eden. The grounds of the Westin are always immaculate with 5 star service. It is exactly what a tropical vacation should be.

One of the best vacation resorts in the world., especially if you have young kids. Our kids loved the Koi fish feeding in the morning, the Westin kids clubs were awesome, a short hike from behind the resort lies one of the most beautiful kid friendly beaches in the world - Anini Beach. Grilling, chilling, feeling fab with the most friendly staff your family will come out recharged at the end of your stay

This resort would be rated much higher except for the fact that Westin decided to offer "fixing" weeks/units for Preferred View Villas without notifying owners of record of this decision in a timely manner. This shows that Westin dosen't adequately value its existing owners. Available information suggests Westin intends to "fix" up to 50% of total resort villa weeks. If "fixing" is implemented to this extent, any owner who is either unable or unwilling to "fix" his or her weeks will be assigned a relatively unattractive unit at checkin. Anyone considering purchasing at this Resort should seriously consider the implications of this dramatic departure from Westin's traditional "floating" regimen!

We absolutely loved our stay! The studio was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed with gorgeous views. The resort grounds are stunning, and the sunsets from the property were unforgettable. It was the perfect home base for exploring Kauai’s North Shore—we would definitely come back!

This resort is on the north shore of Kauai, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Hike the nearby Kalalau Trail that runs along the Nepali Coast with its green fluted mountains butting up against the ocean. These sites are something you will never forget. Like most Westins, this resort is lovely. Enjoy!!

We stayed at Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas and had an incredible, adventure-filled Kauai vacation. The resort is beautifully maintained and surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, with stunning ocean and mountain views that truly capture the North Shore experience. Located in Princeville, it offers a peaceful, uncrowded setting upscale yet relaxed and ideal for travelers looking to enjoy Kauai away from the busier resort areas.

It’s the perfect home base for a summer getaway. Days are great for exploring beaches, hiking, kayaking, scenic drives, and island adventures, while evenings are calm and relaxing back at the resort. With multiple pools and hot tubs, it’s easy to unwind and recharge after full days out. For anyone considering a summer stay or a Fourth of July week vacation in Kauai, this resort offers the perfect balance of adventure, comfort, and serenity. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We have been owners at this westin property for 20 years. We have brought our family and friends there many times.. It is a wonderful location for families and extremely kids friendly. The rooms are very well appointed and the kitchen area is well equipped and u can actually make full meals without a problem with 2 or 3 persons working in the kitchen at the same time. A nice shopping area with a full service grocery store "Foodland" is a 1/4 mile away and easily with walking distance with a few nice resturants onsite. The Makai golf course butts up to the property with great Ocean Views and easy access to the course.
