The Big Island is very laid back and gorgeous. This is our favorite resort because the beach right on property has excellent snorkeling, kayak rentals, etc. An oceanfront room sunset will leave you mesmorized! Two shopping centers are right across the street with excellent dining!

Our favorite family vacation spot! A true paradise and family friendly resort! So much to do and explore here and located on the famous Poipu Beach!

This resort is so beautiful! The pool and beach are wonderful and the rooms are very comfortable. The Kings shops and Queens' Marketplace are very close. We enjoyed walking there for dinner and shopping...and we highly recommend a night snorkel with Manta Rays. What an incredible experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Marriott Waikoloa Village. The location is absolutely beautiful, with water that is just as clear and inviting as the Caribbean. The resort itself is well-maintained and offers excellent amenities, including a fantastic water slide that was a highlight of the trip.

The food options on the property were very good, with plenty of choices for different tastes, and the service throughout the resort was friendly and attentive. One of the best features of this hotel is how convenient everything is — shops, restaurants, and attractions in the village are all within easy walking distance, so there’s no need to drive once you arrive.

Overall, this resort offers a perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and convenience. Whether you’re traveling with family or just looking for a peaceful beach getaway, Marriott Waikoloa Village is a great choice and a place we would happily return to.

Beautiful area

We had an incredible stay at the Marriott Waikoloa Ocean Club. The suite was spacious, modern, and offered stunning views of the ocean. The location is perfect-tucked away enough to feel like a private paradise, but close enough to the King's and Queen's shops for easy dining and browsing. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with true aloha spirit. We can't wait to come back!

Marriott’s Waikoloa Ocean Club is an excellent place to stay during Ironman Kona race week. You’re close enough to the action in Kailua-Kona but far enough away to avoid the crowds and chaos. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and relaxing, with great pools, beach access, and spacious villas. Perfect balance of Ironman energy and true Hawaiian downtime.

Beautiful beach that is quite nice for families. Convenient for drives to Hilo and the north shore of the big island. Many golf courses nearby the resort.

We stayed here in 2023 with our kids. I have never seen more beautiful sunsets than what we saw here. Also, if you are a SCUBA diver, the manta ray night dive was amazing!! You can also see them from above while snorkeling and they do come up towards the surface. Happy to share photos if requested. We loved the Big Island and has become our favorite of the Hawaiian Islands. Renting it because we would like to travel abroad somewhere we've never been instead.

A wonderful resort where you feel a million miles from the craziness of the world! Well maintained, smiling staff and a wonderful breeze that brings the best smells of the island and ocean together. Stay once and you want to return again and again.

Great Vacation location. Walk to Lava Lva on the beach for the best sunset views, casual dining lawn games and best of all great food.

We've stayed at the Waikoloa Ocean Club several times now and it's always been a wonderful experience.

This resort is in high demand virtually all year round though there's so much grounds around the hotel, you hardly ever feel like the pool or the beach are ever that crowded.

Picturesque, right on the beach, fabulous resort! Several beautiful pools, easy access to local amenities and big, comfortable rooms with full kitchens! It's a great location for driving around the Big Island - so much variety from rainforests, to Volcano National Park, black sand beaches and so much more beauty! Great restaurants on property if you just want to luxuriate at the resort or many wonderful options in town. One of our favorite locations in Hawaii!
