Summer Bay Orlando Resort Reviews & Ratings

I've stayed at this resort several times and had a wonderful experience every time. Resort is huge and has a lot to do onsite. Location from Theme Parks is very close. The renovations were nicely done.

We still love this resort. We have been going for many years as it is an annual event for us. Summer Bay Resort is truly a second home for us and we feel very comfortable here. The resort amenities make our vacations perfect for everyone in the family. I find it amazing that some people just seem to be able to find fault with any resort. I can't imagine that anyone could find any problems with Summer Bay!

We, along with other family members, have rented at Summer Bay for the last 13 years in a row. We had stayed at many other resorts and hotels in Orlando, but when we found Summer Bay, we knew we had found a special place.

Now we have bought 2 weeks there and my other family members have bought there also. We enjoy the resort so much that now we don't go to the parks as much so that we can enjoy the amenities at Summer Bay.

The units are always very clean and very well supplied. If we ever have a maintenance problem, the staff has always been very prompt in fixing the problem.

Our teenagers and younger children absolutely love the resort. Summer Bay Resort is truly like our second home!

We have stayed at Summer Bay several times and the condos have always been spotless and well maintained. The resort has several pools and hot tubs which are also clean and well maintained. The resort has a great recreation center and many activities for both adults and children around the resort. The lake (with sandy beach) provides fishing and water sports. Every time at Summer Bay has been a great week.

One of the best resorts we've visited, perfect for theme park visits to Disney and Universal Studios. Highly recommended.

Spacious luxury 2 bedroom condo, which is bigger than my first house. 10-11 miles to Disney front gate and easy access to to all attractions and the highway to Tampa. There is a Publix supermarket next door.Original owner and now we are in our 70's and late 60's and no longer desire distance travel from New England. It's been great and will be sad to se this go.

I stay here every time I vacation in Orlando. I love the amenities and the staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious, well decorated, clean, and up to date. Everything on the resort is easily accessible.

We love all the on site recreational things to do for all ages. Very convenient to Disney parks. Super vacation spot even if your not going to Disney. Our kids love this place!

Wonderful resort, close to restaurants and a quick drive to Walt Disney World Resort. Great amenities, a great selection of pools to choose from, there's a movie theater in the resort. The resort is large enough to take a great run or walk.

This is one of the best places to stay in Orlando. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The nightly music by the pool was a welcome addition and the place was great. Drinks by the pool and beautiful surroundings convinced me to purchase a 3 brm House The rest of the family loved it so much that they also bought units so we can all be close together. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times - the first time in a gorgeous 1-bedroom unit that the management gave us free for a get-acquainted visit. That was the week we purchased a 2-bedroom timeshare. We stayed in our own unit the other two times and had a great time with my sister and her daughter as guests: fished off the dock, used a paddle boat, played mini golf, enjoyed our private Jacuzzi, used the exercise room, played tennis, swam in the pools, etc. Lots of great entertainment and places to visit close by. We even went on a 3-night cruise during our last stay.

Great RESORT! We have been staying in Florida timeshare for over 10 years. If you have a family this is one of the best ones we have been too. They have family packages for the extra activites that are well worth it. My one and only complaint was that the carpets in the spacious very accomidating condos is the carpets are dirty and stained. If you are renting from Mr. Tan he is wonderful to work with. I handle all our business in out of country transactions. Everything went wonderful. We will be returning this April for another week and if I needed accomidations I would use Mr. Tan again.

Stayed 9/9/07 1 BR - very large rooms, nicely decorated, dish soap & D.W. detergent plus small box of Laundry detergent for washer & dryer in unit. King beds more firm than we like, and pillows a bit flat. End of season so carpets needed cleaned in some ares.

Management was great, called once to offer free breakfast & tickets to theme parks if we would go to timeshare presentatation, but we declined and they never called again.

Very secure gated community with Publix grociery and Walgreens nearby. Shuttles to all theme parks and shopping mall for fee.

Awesome. We stayed there on a timeshare presentation in Aug 2005. We thought that we were going to stay elsewhere but they checked us in at the condos. The 1 bdr was terrific. It had a washer/dryer, sofa bed, full kitchen, vesitbule, and 2 tvs. The facilities were great (Pools, mini gulf course, kids water attractions, beach front. One of the best accomodations that I've ever stayed in. I hope I can visit as a real guest soon. Update: We have now stayed in a 2BR in AUg 2006. It was even better. Again, it was on a timeshare tour and yes, again we stayed in the condos. This package was awesome. Amentiies were great, rooms great!! With a denny's basically on site you can't lose.
