Villa La Estancia Cabo San Lucas Reviews & Ratings

We've been taking our family to Cabo for over 15 years and this resort is a crown jewel right along Medano Beach, which is the only swimmable beach in Cabo and great for kids.

The property is ideally located with only a 5 minute cab ride to town, and features an amazing onsite restaurant (La Casona).

Best place in Cabo, close to town, Secure gated resort, rooms are fantastic and big. Close to all the fun. Love the Cabo

Just returned from a quickie vacation at this beautiful/elegant/incredible resort. Everyone from Malcolm and Vicki at Estancia vacations, staffers like, Jimmy, Oscar, Teresa and others, were not only helpful, but were instrumental in making our stay a success. I can't think of anything wrong with this resort, but can tell you many things "right" with it. We rented a 2 bedroom villa and found it well appointed in all aspects, clean and spacious. The resort features a beautiful pool area, several impressive jacuzzi's, and the sexiest beach in Mexico. The resort also features the best steakhouse in Cabo, a state of the art arcade, spa, fitness center, tennis and basketball courts, etc..... I'm an experienced traveller and highly endorse and recommend that you visit this resort NOW.

Perfect place to be in Cabo on Medano Beach! You can see the arch from the hotel, service is amazing, and rooms comfortable. We especially love the different restaurants.

This is an amazing full service, 5 star property with all the amenities you could need! The staff is absolutely wonderful, the grounds impeccable, the villa beyond beautiful and comfortable! We took advantage of the all inclusive deal and dined poolside several times, and at La Casona. The food was really fabulous as well as the drinks and service! I'd give more stars if possible- it was paradise! Highly recommend!

Located minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas and the Marina the resort offers amenities and service worth of a 5 star resort. The 3 bedroom unit has private entrance and balconies and offers a home away from home feeling. The beach is a few steps away and the pools offer outstanding and relaxing atmosphere!

Excellent resort with beautiful grounds, pool, beach, gym, and other amenities. Location is fabulous; very close to town. All staff are outstanding, including housekeeping, pool staff, restaurant hosts & servers, room service personnel, doormen, employees in the lobby/office, and persons on the phone. Everyone is not only extremely friendly and make you feel at home, but they are always willing to help you with anything you need. Once in a while, rooms get cleaned later in the day but recommend speaking to the housekeeper who will mostly likely be the same person all week. Also, the staff at the resort immediately fix any problem you might have with a quick phone call to the operator. Food is consistently very good, with a variety of restaurant choices, and including a market at the building next door.

Outstanding Resort on Medono Beach. Walk to downtown Cabo!

The location of Villa La Estancia is fantastic. Walking distance to downtown Cabo San Lucas. Surrounded by great restaurants both on site and a short walk to town. The staff here is amazing. Extremely friendly. Great ocean views.

Stayed at Villa La Estania resort for two weeks and enjoyed everything from walking on the beach, laughing with friends by the pool and dining at the various restaurants without leaving the lush grounds. Roger and Margie were very helpful answering any questions I had. This is the place to stay and relax. Staff was better than my finest stay in London, where I often visit. My Villa was spacious and included an awesome view of the "steps" away Medano Beach. Numerous jacuzzis, pools and quality restaurants abound. Will return again.

Through Four Seasons Direct Exchange, we spent a week at this beautiful resort in November, 2004. This is a very large facility with every imaginable amenity. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and finished throughout in marble, the balconies are spacious, the service is courteous and impeccable, and the grounds could not be more beautiful. There are also excellent tennis courts and a fitness centre. The sand beach is slightly steep, with a minor (though quite manageable) undertow, indicating some caution in the water. Los Arcos can be viewed directly from the hotel. High speed internet service is available.

The resort is located some distance from town, and the development of the road system has not kept pace with the growth of new resorts further from town. Therefore, the quality of the roads varies considerably, though walking to town remains quite feasible.

Los Cabos itslef offers fewer amenities than some of the larger centres, and is somewhat expensive, due to supply and demand factors. However, there is no end of wonderful restaurants and shops, and the area is developing at a very rapid pace.

We would visit again without hesitation, and Villa La Estancia would remain our first choice for a Cabo San Lucas stay.
