We have stayed here twice in the past year. We have thoroughly enjoyed it and the kids loved spending time at the beach (1.5 blocks away). The two-bedroom is awesome and you get your own private garage which enters right into your unit. The staff was very friendly and informative, as well as responsive to our needs. There was also a corner market across the street if you wanted to grab a few goodies and/or snacks without running to the grocery store. There are gas barbeques on sight for your use as well as the cooking utensils and matches. They also provided computer/printer access, sand toys, pool towels, gameroom, etc. There are only approx. 26 units on sight so it has a nice residential atmosphere feel to it.

We can't wait to go back again.

Smaller, quiet complex with nice pool, jacuzzi, barbecues and secure parking. Large, spacious units with everything you would need for a great stay. Many units have some ocean view and just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk.

Great location- only 1 blk to beach. Units older but well maintained grounds. Late check-in was not arranged beforehand, so I would definitely recommend that.

This resort is in a fantastic location.

Its only about a 2 minute walk to the beach and a lifeguard stand. The beach is clean, not rocky, no seaweed. Good surfing and swimming.

Its a short walk to the pier and to some great restaurants. Legoland is a quick 5 mile drive. And you're halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles.

The resort is older, but its much nicer than the picutres. As of January it is now a GOLD Crown resort. They have a small game room with pool table, ping pong, video games. The units are good size and newly remodeled. Parking is underground and easily accesible.

Overall a nice resort, great location and very helpful friendly staff.

Hidden gem! Less than a block from the beach. Close to all San Diego area attractions. So nice to have a condo with all the necessities and then some. :-) Mid July through first week of September is also Del Mar Thoroughbred Horse Racing "Where the Surf Meets the Turf" just a 30-40 minute drive along the beautiful Pacific coast.

Oceanside and aquamarine perfect combination for the perfect vacation. The condo offers a one bedroom one bath full kitchen patio with partial ocean views living room with sofa bed and fireplace, dining area and full kitchen. The pool and spa are such a plus and having the convenience of a store right across the street is great. A short block to the beach and walk along the Strand. Great selections of restaurants nearby. From Aquamarine villas, it’s a lovely walk to the pier and all the activities and surf camps by the pier in downtown Oceanside. Lego land, San Diego Zoo safari, San Diego Botanical Gardens and Carlsbad village are all within close driving distance. San Diego is 45 minutes away. Within the gated community of Aquamarine Villas is a lovely pool, hot tub and bbq tables to hang out at. The parking is underground and locked. We have enjoyed this place for over 25 years.

Love this place! It is a home away from home! Thenperfect place for families! Huge full kitchen. BBQ grills a pool and spa. We've always had a blast! Every staff member is friendly and courteous. Aquamarine Villas is just a block from the beach. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance. The Master bedroom balcony looks out to the ocean.

We have been an owner of an Aquamarine Villa since the 80s. We have enjoyed our stays at the resort, especially since Oceanside has become a real destination for festivals, farmer's markets, restaurants, movie theaters, coffee houses, microbreweries, and a beautiful beaches. It's location in north San Diego makes it a great hub for those wishing to visit key destinations like Legoland, San Diego Zoo, and Disneyland. Best of all is the sounds of the waves breaking on the beach, just a couple minutes from the resort.

The best thing about the resort is its proximity to the beach.

The 1br unit we stayed in had lots of problems including a non flushing toilet and garbage disposal. The maintenance man had the day off and they finally agreed to call a plumber. We left for the day and returned to a non flushing toilet at 8 p.m.. Called the office and they said it was our fault because we weren't there to wait for the plumber. By 11 p.m. the plumber had left us with a working toilet. The garbage disposal never did get fixed during the week. Was told a new one was on order.

The furnishings were dated and old down to the sheets that were mended. Sleeping on mended sheets was not comfy.

The staff was not helpful in general and were not always nice.
