We have owned our unit here for many years. The property now is better than ever as it has been completely updated after hurricane Maria in 2017. It has the best secluded beach for swimming and snorkeling, a huge larger than olympic pool, poolside restaurant and great staff. The area nearby has many great restaurants and the locals are all so friendly. This place is not near the hustle of San Juan and is most certainly 100% relaxing. If you haven't tried Puerto Rico, it's better than you can imagine. Like Hawaii, much closer and costs less.

Beautiful two bedroom villa on the ocean. Top floor with lovely view of the ocean. Full kitchen, dining area, living room, two balconies, washer/dryer. This property was recently renovated. Access to great local restaurants. Pool and lots of activities for kids. Great resort!

Fabulous beachfront resort! They completely renovated the entire resort and did a great job! We were extremely comfortable in our 2 bedroom apartment and had an amazing time at the beach, pool and hot tub. Everyone was so friendly and the staff was amazing!

Spectacular Oceanfront Oasis and Golf Haven! Beautiful grounds with abundant tropical flora, and secluded beach protected by offshore reef, only 25 miles west of San Juan. Newly renovated villas. Property includes pool, secluded pristine beach with volleyball, restaurant and bar near beach serving 3 meals daily, 3 tennis courts, miniature golf, ping pong, arcade room, fitness center, and 4 legendary championship golf courses. Suite has all new furniture, new full kitchen, private balcony, whirlpool tub, large living room, flat screen TVs, 2 king beds and 2 queen sofa beds. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

After a very long wait, Hacienda Del Mar finally reopened late last year and it has been fully renovated. We stayed one week in august and the villas are beautifully appointed and comfortable. Even the sofa beds are much more comfortable than the old ones. The pool is great and the area has been expanded and more chairs added. The beach was lovely and we were able to snorkel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fitness center is new and has nice equipment. We had a really great, relaxing vacation.

We visited for the first time over Easter break this March and absolutely loved the resort. A car is essential and provides the opportunity to eat at delicious local eateries and tour the island. The pool allows for lap swimming and the beach leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is by far the most exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team I have yet to encounter.

Hi Just got back from a wonderful experience at Hyatt Hacienda Del Mar. This was a timeshare we bought last year and were using this year for the first time for our honeymoon. I love the fact of very few people at the resort. The staff was unbelievably wonderful and friendly. Everything was clean and tidy. I can not wait until next year when we will plan the use of our timeshare week here again. Gayle & John

As far as Hyatt properties go, this is shameful. If I were an owner here, I would be fuming. The property is in desperate need of a facelift because it is very dated. We stayed here in April of 2007, and were disappointed with how the property is being kept. It felt like we were adjoined to a ghost hotel with the vacancy of the Cerromar.

I wrote to the Hyatt management about my concerns, however, they were dismissed. It is tolerable here, just don't expect much more.

Just got back last week from our wonderful vacation here. The resort is fabulous and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendlier. The Hyatt does not force you into a presentation by offering lots of freebies and incentives to view their property. They leave you alone which is how we wanted our vacation to be.

The resort is about 40 minutes from the airport and about half an hour to anywhere to eat or tour. There was no nightlife except if you wanted to gamble, which we didn't. We usually cooked dinner in our 1 bdrm kitchen and watched American satellite TV. I think we would have spent more time at the resort if the weather was better but the days we did hang around it was paradise. I must add the the furnishings were in need of a rehab and there are no restaurants on site. You definitely need a car to enjoy this resort.

This resort has been completely renovated! New kitchen New bathrooms New beds New furniture Did you know that there is no passport needed to enter Puerto Rico? That means skip customs hassles and walk right in as if you’re going to Florida! I love that convenient way to travel. This has an option of a lock out one bedroom room that you can seek the points independent of the Main huge room. Total ocean views in both rooms. Brand new everything and newly decorated ! Front desk speaks English very well. Every employee is respectful of your time and personal space. The cleaning staff leaves your time share immaculate! There is a charming restaurant that is directly on the beach for every meal. It has a fun bar and is casual. The front desk is very helpful when you need reservations for dinner or any exursions It is a 5 minute drive to a 5 star Ritz Carlton Hotel that was a Rock Resort. You may go to the Ritz Carlton for amazing meals and a world class spa. You can drive in or take a ferry to Historic Old San Juan. Historic sites and fabulous restaurants and shopping! Lastly let me say the Puerto Rican people are extremely welcoming and happy!

Our Family enjoyed each of our stays at the resort. Close to town and neighboring golf choices. Resort is on a beautiful beach and has a great pool and grounds area. I highly recommend this resort.

The top 3 floors have an gorgeous unobstructed view of the pool and Atlantic Ocean. There is a convenience store and an eatery called Mahi Mahi Bar & Grill in the resort.

My favorite nearby restaurant is (10 minutes away by car) is called La Terraza. They serve typical Puerto Rican food.

I love it there because of its location and tranquility. The water at the beach is fairly calm and clears so you can swim peacefully. Beach chairs are plentiful. Just make sure to look up to make sure the palm trees don't have any coconuts hanging from them.

The Old San Juan (port city where cruise ship dock) and Condado neighborhoods is must visit day trip. They are 35 - 45 minutes away from the HDM resort. The T-Mobile center is an open area tourist stop too.

All these places offer places to explore the islands culture by shopping, dining and visiting numerous local sites.

Hyatt Hacienda Del Mar is a lovely resort. Beautiful pools, on ocean front.

Stayed at Hyatt Hacienda Del Mar for the second time in February. We have already booked a longer, two week stay for 2024. My husband and I love it here. It is quiet, the rooms are beautiful and the beach and pool area are outstanding. We will be bringing more family next year.

Resort is totally updated. Beautiful Beach and exceptional staff.

I have owned and enjoyed my timeshare since 2001. I love the beach the extra large lap pool and the staff at the beach hut. My unit has a spectacular view on 2 sides to just sit and enjoy the view.
