GREAT HELEN LOCATION, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO DOWNTOWN (15-20 MINS) OUTDOOR AND INDOOR POOL, LARGE HOT TUB, SUPER LARGE PAVILION OVERLOOKING CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVER

Loreley is a VERY well maintained resort on the Chattahoochie River in Helen, GA. The picture in the RCI wishbook does NOT do it justice as it doesn't show all the foliage, flowers and trees surrounding the units and in the middle courtyard. The units are very nice and clean.

Loreley is a beautiful resort with a very friendly staff. A very easy walk to downtown Helen with all of its Bavarian charm. The resort offers two pools (indoor and outdoor) a nice jacuzzi and fitness center. Activities are excellent, the Sunday nite welcome aboard dinner is a fun place to meet folks from all over the world. The two BR unit is large, furnishings are comfortable - the large banquet table easily accommodates 8 people - if you want to invite neighbors in for a "pot luck". We timeshare the world over - this one is a definite A+++++++

Super location - lots to do and see. Helen was kind of kitschy but fun - sort of a stereotypical German town....on steroids. Go tubing through the town - great fun for the whole family.

Unit was okay, fell in with the town theme. Didn't interact much with the staff, but they were helpful when needed. There was so much to do in the area we didn't need to have someone arrange things for us!

Definately plan to go back, but probably would try to first stay at Insbruck Igls for the golf course. However, Lorely is much better located - walking distance to everything in town, so better for families.

The staff was not friendly or helpful. Also, there was a notice written in big letters stating that if you plugged a computer into the phone line, it would blow the whole phone system and you would be charged. Later, I talked to someone who said that was not the case but they only had 4 lines coming into the place and didnot want any one using a computer to tie up the lines.

The location was convenient and the unit was roomy. We enjoyed the indoor pool.
